Thing is mate, I don't see him going this summer and if that's the case we have to look to next season. Like we have agreed in the past, let him have next season and go. If he ain't happy with that, then he knows what he can do.

Thing is, I'm bored of talking about him now. I want to talk about players, hopes, tactics, players, formations, players and predictions for next season, not the fucking saga of Harry fucking Redknapp :(

Edit

I like using the phrase 'thing is' don't I!

I agree with you, we should be talking about next season. Managerial changes should be made immediately after the season ends, not drag on for a month or two.
Best thing to do would be impose a self inflicted ban on here, Twitter and any other forums you use, for a good month. Tune back in at the start of preseason when we can discuss our exciting new signings and the season ahead. (Who am I kidding, when was the lasttime we could get excited about preseason signings, they come when the season has started).

I agree, if we're going to get rid of him, now is the time. Personally I think it's gone to far now to keep him, I don't think we can trust him not to fuck about through the year if we don't give him a big contract extension, and I don't think the club will countenance a three year contract. For this reason I expect to see Harry gone in the next two weeks.

I have been expecting it for a while. To the point I am like the boy who cried wolf when I tell friends I expect him gone "this weekend".
I am very surprised he is still here. I quite fancied Ancelotti, and know he fancied us, but we let that one slip. I quite fancied Rodgers, but we missed the boat there. Now I dont have a particular favourite, not a realistic one anyway. So although I think its come to the point of a natural break with Harry ( I am not a Harry hater) I dont have a suggestion of a replacement I would be comfortable putting my name too. David Moyes has perhaps earned a chance, Martinez perhaps suits our style of play better. I cant see Levy gambling on Johnny Foreigner.

My bet atm would be either Moyes as a longer term appointment, or Capello as a shorter term choice to keep the hot-seat warm while Levy identifies the man he really wants.

Also interestingly after the Dutch game H talked about how they don't need 2 holding players and they have to find a way to get KJH in the team and 'go for it' in order to qualify....an insight into what has been and will continue to be his tactical philosophy....

Maybe that would have worked? He was the only one to say Holland would struggle.

He was, but to be fair Holland should of won that game by four or five - it was a bit freakish.

I do agree with him though on the point that Holland's defense isn't good enough to win the tournament, they're not good enough off the ball.
