He had no choice. Live TV, he was put well on the spot by Lineker. His face was going well red!

Not seen it yet... Question for those that have. Was it live or shown as live?
Think that may make a huge difference as then can see the questions being answered and the full context of the answers.
I fully expect there to still be a huge raft of articles using this interview to cause rifts and poke holes in H.

Seems like lineker had been on the spurs forums today - some really awkward questions from him

Struggling to guess what Harry has said that is unforgivable, but I am sure there will be something.

Lets be honest, like he admitted he would have gone, he wont get a better job than ours, the England stuff did affect our season, Levy wont give him a longer contract just in case we fuck up so he can sack him without much compensation, and we are better off with him staying as he has done well and a change may well backfire on us, i dont really get why people on here are warming to him because of the BBC interview tonight, what do you expect hin to say? don't get me wrong, i was pro Harry staying before tonights interview though it doesnt mean i think hes a great bloke, but we have failed with our great blokes/legends ( ossie, glenn,) before, so lets get behind Harry,he is no Murinhio or Fergie, but in his own one off way players respond to him when he has his eye on the ball, the last 3 years can't be a fluke.

Personally, I am hoping that people are realising that when seen live and fully in context H ain't really as much a **** as some of the press/some posters on here make him out to be...

It's laughable how peoples opinions change after 1 interview. Same happened with Hodgson. After his first press conference everyone was thinking this is great. Roll on a few weeks and Roy is getting slated based on his football decisions. Actions speak louder than words. It's not what Harry says, its what he does. He has to make changes to how he utilizes our squad if he is still here next season.

Time to give H a break. Yes he isn't perfect by any means, but he has put us in our best position for a long time. We have to back him or sack him & as it looks like the former, time to get of his back. Let's hope D &H get their differences sorted ASAP & start preparing for another crack at the PL ( not to often we could say that. COYS

Not that you don't have a point, but if that's the case then how come whenever he gives an interview we get 16 threads teling us what a **** he is?

I'm not sure how you're approaching this because I don't know if you're one of those who regularly beat him up about any comments he's made, so i'm not aiming this specifically at you RJ, but if you are right and actions speak louder than words and its not what Harry says, then the threads complaining every time he so much as snores in his sleep should stop, or are the comments only applicable THIS TIME because there's not much wrong in the content of his interview to complain about?

It can't be both ways can it?
