Easy. Get rid of Harry and go managerless. Let the fans vote throughout the game who should get taken off and put on as well as formation changes.

You know, because we're all experts and stuff.

True, but my point was more that we've blown this season already as far as I'm concerned. Short of Noel Edmonds and Mr Blobby turning up at the Lane to announce the biggest and most long-winded 'Gotcha' ever on the entire Spurs support, this season and the mentality of the players is in ruins.

Might as well get some money for Harry leaving.

Agree about the money, and it's a shame as i don't think it's too late - you just have to look at Chelsea's turn in form since AVB was sacked to see how we could get a few good results with a change of manager.

What is the point of this silly bollocks. We would not and should not sack Redknapp (or any manager) with four games to go sitting 5th with the games that we (us and those around us) all have.

What I hope the players and management are doing is pulling together, geeing each other up and going all out. I have no problem with the performance at QPR, we dominated the game FFS, just found a team entirely dedicated to parking a bus and skanking something - which they did.

I have no problem with the performance at Sunderland where it was an identical scenario. We dominated but just couldn't break them down.

And the performances at Chlesea and Swansea and Bolton at home were excellent.

There are remarkable similarities with the run Ramos experienced post CC Cup - We have played some good football in this bad run, have not always got what we deserved from games for various reasons. Redknapp has made mistakes that have contributed for sure, and I am hoping that he goes off to manage England at the end of the season and we can hopefully bring in someone very good, but you just don't sack managers in these circumstances and it is ridiculous to call for it.

Playing devils advocate for a minute BC, how likely do you think it is that we will break down Bolton and Villa away?

At what point do you call for a manager to be sacked then?

The point is that we are 5th, and have a chance of 4th spot sill, but our current form is a fucking disgrace and frankly if Harry is to blame for that (which personally i think he is for several reasons - tactics, man management etc...) then we should get of him.

The issue with this at the moment is that we're expecting the FA to appoint him as new manager and compensate us to the tune of £5-10m.

I think at the end of the day it would be a bit like cutting off our nose to spite our face, but people have a right to be frustrated and Harry's constant refusal to shoulder any responsibility is probably what grates with a lot of people. But in the cold light of day this decision will come with England appointing there next manager anyway.

That's not the reason stopping Levy from sacking Harry.

I think the deal is already struck and has been for some time. Harry will leave for England after the season, FA will buy his remaining contract out. Papers probably signed already.

Completely agree. Although my faith in Harry is lessening, to say the least, I can't believe there was a thread on who should be our manager for the next 5 games.... And like said, the performances haven't been as bad as some would like to suggest, but that doesn't mean that I think everything's rosey. We could have played the Chelsea, Sunderland and QPR games for another 90 minutes and it wouldn't surprise me if we didn't score still.

I just really think one good win will set us off, that's how close I think we are to clicking and moving in the right direction. Only thing is now is that this win that may set us off will come late if at all. It has to start at Blackburn do we can take some good form into those vital two away games at least.

As long as Redknapp picks the right team, and they give it their best I will have no grumbles. If he makes tactical/team mistakes I might grumble but I still wouldn't want us to sack him in these circumstances, it just feels plain wrong and undignified, and regardless of how I feel and have always felt about Redknapp I think he has given us enough good stuff this season to deserve leave with a bit of dignity.

I would much rather wait until the end of the season. And in all honesty I would have wanted him to go then even if we'd made CL easily. You all know how I feel about the bloke, but sacking him right now just wouldn't feel right.

You can sack a manager at various times in a season, but 4 games to go in fifth with a chance of 4th isn't one of them IMO.

This is the part that irks me the most.....we don't score. We play well but the crux of the matter is that goals win games irrespective of how you play. I think the stats reveal that we have one of the highest number of shots at goal but score the least.

We had a good win against Swansea and the following week, we were back to the mediocrity I was used to in years gone by. Sorry gents and ladies but Harry's time is up for me and I cannot wait to see him go.

Yeah I pretty much agree, it would be counter productive and undignified regardless of the circumstances. But like you I want us to part ways with him regardless of where we finish or what happens with England come the summer.

Fuck's sake, there is absolutely no way Harry should be sacked:

1. He doesn't deserve to be, he's been one of our most successful managers in the PL era. He steadied the ship when it was rocking, and helped us to our first foray in CL.
2. He's leaving in the summer anyway, purely on the difference between the compensation we'd be liable to pay him and the compensation the FA will have to pay us, we shouldn't sack him.

That's all.

Our current results have not been good but the performances have been, and that is the point. We completely dominated QPR and before Norwich and Wembley we were outstanding against Chelsea, Swansea & bolton (cup).

Redknapp has made mistakes, and I have been one of the most vociferous in pointing them out, but in those games above I don't think any other manager could have picked better sides or got better effort. We could have been coached better and this has always been a criticism I have levelled at Redknapp, but we aren't going to get someone in who is going to have a coaching impact on our players immediately, this takes time.

So for now I would rather we all pulled together, management, players & fans, give it our best shot and then (happily in my case) wave good bye to Redknapp in the summer.

What you have said is fair and I would agree to it.

BUT I have one question for you B-C...

Why are these teams parking the bus when they play us and not doing the same against the teams around us?

(That is without wishing to follow up with, what would you do to get out of this 'head-lock' of bus parking?)

Yes he should go.
No we shouldn't sack him because we'll be due a reported £10 million in compensation if we wait a fortnight.

Well we don't have to, we can put him on gardening leave or suspend him like Hull did to phil Brown and if England don't pay the compensation just carry on paying him for 18months while they get a new manager

No point. We're either going to just about scrape qualification for CL or continue to fuck it up. Either way, Arry's getting his England job.

I just want Levy to have a top class replacement ready, pen in hand, to sign on the dotted line at the final whistle against Fulham.
