Right, a bit of a rant!
The OS ticketing system requires you to sign up for an account to buy tickets that are on general sale, even if you are not a member. Fine, I have no issues with that.
What I do have an issue with is the fact that, in order to log into that account, you have to input your 'client reference number'. Now, if you forget your client reference number, which is extremely likely if you are a non-member as you receive no email confirmation of it, you cannot recover it. You can recover your password, if you have your client reference number but can't do it vice versa. I would have thought a much better solution would be to just use your email address for log in purposes, as almost every other website does, but, alas, no, the OS has to be awkward. Who did we get to design this system ffs!
I have now had to create 2 new email addresses over the last 3 years purely so I can register a new account. Ridiculous!
