I think there was a lot of belief from some fans that Poch would miraculously turn him into a world beater.

I don’t think he will ever become the same player or even a better one again. But one thing is probably for certain, he will get a better chance when conte has gone, if he gets over his injury.

Had anyone else forgotten that they've also got Danny Drinkwater there these days? Twelve appearances this season. Those two were being touted as potential starters for England at the world cup this time last year. Neither of them will be anywhere near the squad now.

Yeah it's lifted from the article posted above. Conte clearly didn't want him and isn't afraid to make that known :ROFLMAO:

Just had a look at the line ups for that match. It was the one where he played Hazard as a striker and left Batshuayi on the bench. He certainly knows how to alienate his players - Costa, Luis, Batshuayi, Barkley,..

Drinkwater. Barkley. Possibly others.

Signed to help meet the English player quota. Not for the actual team itself.

Lukaku, Batshuyai (or however you spell it), De Bruyne

Young up and coming players that were signed to stop them falling into the hands of other clubs.

Chelsea. A club which uses players and couldn't give a fuck. Join them at the risk of stalling your career.

A poisonous, nasty club, no real identity, no real loyalty no nothing. A cesspit of resentment, backstabbing and ego. A nothing club that nobody other than the silly ****s who jumped on the bandwagon cares about and even they'll sod off elsewhere when they go tits.

I wonder if it'll impact their ability to sign now it's more obvious? Toxicity starts at the top of any organisation and weeds it's way down.

Hopefully players are starting to think longevity of career. Short term money vs long term career and will avoid that hole of a club.

They have been doing it for ages now.... And still players sign, so can't see it changing quickly.

Generally, I hope footballers realise that the gravy train of the big spenders is fairly sort lived. Players like Sessegnon, seem to be wising up to their careers as a whole. Waiting until they are ready for those 'so called big clubs' to sign them, as opposed to jumping ship and never being heard of again. The chavs in particular, have ruined many a player. Didn't they have something like 30+ players out on loan at some point?

Same as Maureen.
If the club doesnt give them enough money to go and get exactly who they want then they sulk and publicly slag off playes and distance themselves saying its not my fault.
Basically saying if they cant act like theyre playing FIFA on a games console they cant do anything.
Thats not coaching, that's not managing players or a team.
Its piss poor.
And then these same twats come out and fools who believe their crap and say its not all about money. Really?
Edit. Thats why I have massive respect for Benitez. Can you ever imagine Maureen or Conte doing what he's done, sticking with a relegated club? I cant.
Apologies for going off topic.

Absolutely. Ever since Mourinho arrived at United all he's talked about is the need for more and better players as opposed to getting the most out of what he's got. Look at the some of squads that Fergie had in the last few years especially, some of them had not a lot special about them at all but he got the most that he possibly could out of them whereas the answer for Mourinho is always more money, must have more world class players, we don't have enough etc.

Because it seems they no longer want to be 'coaches'. It's far easier to sign a player with all that cash, that's a ready fit than to coach what you have. Or even to make the signing better. The likes of Mourinho are 'organisers'. Pep is a different case, he is still a top top 'coach'.

And it's becoming more and more obvious. They may have won the league last year but their form's been erratic (by their modern standards) this year and the season before. Your reasons are spot on, but their championing of Terry- a racist, philandering, entitled prick- and their classless way of publically stating they would do anything to upset our title run in 20-15-16 are other good reasons to loath them. Poch's book reveals how their entitled, arrogant attitude permeates right down to their coaches- one of which was so disrespectful Poch had to have words.

Conte's touchline antics last year was breaking point for me- every time I saw the little prick jump, shout and wet himself like a thirteen year old girl at a Beatles' concert, I reached for my imaginary god-stick to blast him into a pit of hell-fire. It never worked. The wanker

Mate, Barkley is as dumb as a box of spanners.
I recall a poster on here saying he/she went to school with him and he was as stupid as a stump.
The agent advised financially, that seems to be fairly evident.

Not sure I agree about Pep.
Based on what?
His answer is spend a shitload of cash wherever he's been.
Dont like goalkeeper. Buy a new one. Oh he's shit. Buy a new one. Full backs shit. Who's best in league. Go buy him.

Yay we won the league, I'm a great coach. Only cost 300m :)

Yeah right.
