Clearly this refers to my favourite summer ITK, his girlfriend's hairdressing profession. The Chavs can guarantee unlimited work on David Liz's barnet, dammit!

Maybe the revelation is that chelsea have dropped out?
To be honest if, as Hercules says, he'd be worth the risk in the summer it must be because we'd grt him for free which surely points to his fitness/ injury again does it not? Can't see a personal life issue would no longer be relevant in the summer.

What if he refuses to sign for the chavs?

from the scousers mate so god knows how reliable it is.....
Well it could very well be the case. Its not a secret that he wants to leave Leicester. It’s been known since last season. I know it polarizes opinion here but the guy is absolut quality when on form and would be a real statement buy for us. However, I wouldnt be surprised if liverpool throw the majority of the remaining coutinho money(about £40-50m after VVD’s price) at Leicester for him.

Wrt Barkley, if we aret going to go for him this window then he will be going to Chelsea. I dont see the big deal with him anyway, though I know that’s an unpopular opinion. But it seems that he is the #1 guy that Poch really wants. So i think we have to back Poch. If he is fine with not getting him then good. However, we’ve known that Barkley is practically Poch’s #1 target since last season and no secret has been made of it so I would think he might have made some demands on other targets as a consolation

Had a look on grand old team but nothing about what’s going on with Barkley bar the snake & rats posts.

Although I’m not sure if they have any itk people on it

He didn't flat out refuse though did he? I thought he drove down to London?
Let's say he refused to agree to join them then, otherwise I really just can't see any logical reason why it wouldn't be done if Chelsea want him.

No sleep to be lost if he signs for the chavs. He can keep Drinkwater company on their bench, that is when he's fit enough

Revelation could not be anything other than his fitness. It’s well known his injury was extreme.
If we get him great, if not it’s ok

If we don't sign him this window i can't imagine it will be all due to not wanting to pay a big fee for a player with only a few months left on his contract. If I remember rightly when the scousers signed joe cole on a 'free' his signing on fee was £5m+ That was years ago now and players are now in a different world financially. It wouldn't surprise me if RB on a 'free' also involves £10m/£15m sign on money.

Not much different to what would be demanded by Everton for him this window. To me if we don't sign him it is because we have a better option now or later or we don't want him not money.

Although I thought originaly Barkley could have done well under poch perhaps because he has been injured, I have kind of moved on from him and so look forward to another target when he comes in.

Revelation could be anything.

I personally want him, he’s talented and can see a pass, he can score a great goal out of nothing, he’s young and will only improve, and he’s English which currently is all we have space for in our CL squad.

Agree, He wanted to leave in summer but it was Everton playing silly bollocks and refusing to come down from their insane 50m valuation or whatever it was. That's the reason he's going for free. If they would've just been realistic and accepted a fair offer then this wouldn't be happening. Not Ross's fault at all. The owners have cut their nose off to spite their face and now they have to live with it
They accepted an offer from Chelsea but Ross knocked it back after going to London on deadline day. Rumour had it that we rang him. Still a gamble signing him before he plays any football but if he cost 20m that would be a bargain in today’s market
