Yes I know it's a few weeks old link but Roger Morgan on SO just mentioned he's the most likely top striker Spurs will sign this summer....

A wanted man: Rondon is being eyed by a raft of European clubs
Liverpool and Tottenham have joined Chelsea in the race for Malaga's £20m-rated striker Salomon Rondon, according to the player's agent.
The 22-year-old Venezuelan international fired 11 goals last season as the La Laiga outfit secured qualification for the Champions League.
And Pablo Martinez confirmed several approaches from the Premier League for his client, according to Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo.
However, with strong interest from Germany, Rondon will not leave southern Spain on the cheap, with mega-rich Malaga playing hardball over the transfer fee of a player they bought for £2.8m from Las Palmas in 2012.

£20m? No thanks.

Would rather try to get Lewandowski, even if it doesn't work out. Rondon should be £12m/£13m max.

Would be a good signing, not at that price though.

Malaga are in financial trouble, only reason this link is realistic IMO.

Maybe they'd accept Gio and some money? I think that would be an excellent deal.

He would end up another postiga imo. Much prefer lewandowski who would surely be available for a similar price. Cazorla would be a.great signing. On his way to real maybe though.

I asked a Malaga fan, they said he is average. He's being linked because there are rumours the backers are withdrawing and some players have reported the club to the authorities for unpaid wages.

I thought they were super-rich ???

Dodgy ownership it looks like, they still havent paid wages or transfer fees for players to certain clubs ie Carzola who they nabbed from Villareal (and eventually got relegated ouch).

Talk of Malaga getting relegated over their actions in fact, they're in serious trouble.

6'1, 22 career average goal ratio of around 1 in 3 although improved to one in just under three at Malaga and is still young and improving.

Haven't seen a great deal of him, he cost 3m euros...... I wouldn't be happy if we paid more than £8m or so for him really and I'd expect him to be a back up type striker on rotation

I'm kind of hoping Newcastle goes for him, just to see the complete 360 that will happen with many of the fans here.
