parker is a better player than you think...he plays with shit week in week out,at spurs he would be perfect.

I am genuinely excited by the prospect of Parker playing in our midfield.

All those away games at Blackburn, Birmingham, Bolton, Stoke, Fulham, Everton, Wolves...etc..if you have a guy like that in your midfield who can battle like fuck, roll his sleeves up when the going gets tough and who would drive us forward when we need someone to physically grab the game by the scruff. Not to mention how our creative talents will benefit from someone winning all those 50/50s and second balls and getting them on the ball more.

The Premiership is still a tough old League, especially away from home. We have so many fantastic talents but we need a few more battlers and he's still a good player on the ball so we arn't compromising anything.

That sort of character, passionate and utterly determined, can be infectious.

A no brainer for me and If I was a Pikey (thank the Lord I aint) I would be sick losing a player like that to Spurs.
