I have to say that the email they send you confirming your seat brought a lump to my throat.
It starts off with "Welcome Home".

Can confirm they have closed it off, I've been sitting there this season. They probably close the balcony now then. That's unfortunate as that was a nice addition. I think it's the bit highlighted in the picture:

Yep lump in my throat too - quickly followed by a hole in my wallet !I have to say that the email they send you confirming your seat brought a lump to my throat.

I'd guess (complete guesswork) at around 6-8k, when you consider we're in to the second phase of 5k, and not everyone would have bought their ticket through either not renewing or waiting for friends/family in later phases. If anybody out there has nothing to do , can they go to https://www.eticketing.co.uk/tottenhamhotspurstadium/EDP/Season/Index/2? and count up the grey dots, like to know how many seats have sold so far.
They will be sprinkled all over the stadium.Does anyone have any idea where the GA seats are located?
Anyone worried about the South stand should chill out. Seems a lot more available than I would have expected at this stage.[/QUOT
The lower part of south stand holds 5,475 , by the look of it not even half full yet , that leaves about 12000 in the upper section above the wheel chair row, which has acres of seats available. Even if everybody in phase 3 & 4 chose south stand which they won't there should still be plenty left.

I had assumed that the general admission seats will be all those that are left over after the season ticket holders have chosen their seats - and of course omitting visiting fans' seats and corporate seats.
Has it been suggested that there are specific seats that are reserved for match-by-match booking?
I haven't seen it suggested. My assumption is based on the common sense view that the club would need to be able to offer a wide range of options when ticket sales open up to members.I had assumed that the general admission seats will be all those that are left over after the season ticket holders have chosen their seats - and of course omitting visiting fans' seats and corporate seats.

What help was that? They didn't send my 'sales phase is open' email until 10:21. If I hadn't had the help of the people on this site giving their experiences from Phase 1 and had waited for the club I wouldn't have got the tickets I wanted.
What help was that?
People advised on here you can log in 30 mins earlier than when your phase window opens. I told a mate at work, he got in without any donut of death waiting time. I logged in about 15 mins early and had to wait about 10 mins before I could get in.
My email with the link in didn’t come until 30mins after the phase had opened. So was helpful for me too!

Why would you do that when you can instead encourage members to buy South stand tickets on the exchange and pay a £10 admin fee for the privilege?I thought they might cap the number of Season Ticket holders in each stand. For example, when the 15'000th season ticket sells in the South Stand the whole stand greys out. This gives members the chance to grab one of 2000 tickets in the members sale. I think it would be a big mistake by the club to not offer a reasonable allocation to member sales for the stand.
I am a bit surprised they haven't kind of grouped some seats in one block similar to Block 36 in the South Lower previously for members, I guess that may have been left empty for when we screwed over some teams and took their upper allocation away?
