If I'd said 'I have zero interest in pre season friendlies', rather than 'I won't be watching', then you might have a point.

I just have better things to do on a Saturday evening than watch a pedestrian bunch of disinterested chancers waltz their way though a friendly game, like, for example, attending one of your mother's world famous bukkake parties. That girl really loves the spoolge.

I'd imagine they'll split time, but I expect to see a lot of Brad, at least in Seattle and Chicago. Considering his new title as Spurs Ambassador to the states I think they will want him on display.

I mean, I kinda just want Yedlin, personally. I think it would be great to get some actual competition to push Walker, he has excellent potential, and can also back up at right winger. This isnt American bias either. Lets jsut say I wasnt his biggest fan during the World Cup...

So the secret philosophy is exciting football, pressing and attacking.
I cannot find any fault in that aspiration - after all, we invented that type of football.

Trouble is, disciplined football, getting men behind the ball and counter attacking is nearly always more successful.
I'm more than happy with that trade off - the game is about glory and entertaining, not boring your way to tarnished silverware.
In any case, we have won F-all in recent years and have been exceptionally dull at times - the worst of both worlds.

Game in the US, Former USMNT Keeper, he was at the press conference with MP - I think I will be surprised if Friedel does not start every game in this tour. He may only play a half, but since this is a marketing junket, I think Spurs start him.

I think people are getting carried away with the Yedlin hype. Yes, he did put in a good performance in one game but at least I haven't seen or heard anything about him before that.

He's been a known commodity in the states for a little while - still very raw though. Word is that he is balking at the Roma transfer that is on the table because he does not want to get loaned out a year - looking at lower-table teams where he will be able to play right away. Don't think he is an option for Spurs.

Sorry, I just reacted to your entirely unnecessary and frankly childish personal attack, which I agree was a stupid thing for me to have done.

But the comment in the second quoted sentence was really directed more at others.

It was pretty unnecessary to be criticising Pochettino after his pre-match press conference for his first pre-season game. I mean who really cares how often he uses the word 'philosophy'? Especially after the bilge we got at the end of last season.
