Should we be worried about Liverpool

I agree with most of what you say. But a big win for Wolves can only improve their confidence and their determination to fight for survival. And a big loss would have had them smarting and out to prove themselves better next time out. An injury time odd goal loss leaving them gutted and pointless would have been my preferred option.

You can look at it eitherway, but dont underestimate the impact Ohara has had in their last few games. He touched the ball an astonishing 111 times or something against Blackpool...total dominance in midfield. They'll be missing that

No! These are the same Liverpool fans that at the start of last season thought they were going to win the league.
Misguided fools all of them!

Liverpool are no better now under 'King Kenny' than they were under Hodgson. The only difference is that Dalglish talks positively about their situation and Hodgson was more honest and downbeat.

Results recently achieved for Liverpool have been based on more belief and sentiment. Fans are behind them more, the multitude of ex-players that work in the media are more upbeat - BUT the reality is that their team is not what it once was.

In short - NO don't worry about them, lets just look after ourselves

As I said when they signed Suarez and Carroll and some on here were pooping their pants...the fact is that they have a really poor squad, and that was apparent at the start of last season. Selling one great (when fit) striker and buying two that might work doesn't really alter that overall assessment.

And I, personally, hate the way they treated Roy Hodgeson.

Statistically and historically (are they one in the same), there is a six game bump when a manager takes over. After those six games, the team returns to its form before the manager. If we don't count the Blackpool game, then guess which game was #7....West Ham. If we include the FA loss to United then it was last week's draw with Wigan.

I hope we can worry Liverpool at some point in the future.
Yes we have been put in our place and this has been depressing.

To be quite frank I'd rather the Scousers got 4th than City.

To be honest that's my thinking now as well. Though I think even they will find it hard to catch City before the end of the season.

What's even worse though is you just know that either team's fans will be massive twats and crow about it for ages.

What Liverpool are achieving at the moment is down to coaching, work ethic and playing as a coherent unit. They are pressing the ball all over the pitch. Defensively they are better than us, up front they are better than us.

Yep, and unfortunatley it sticks out like a sore thumb. Yet I doubt we'll see any change in the work rate department.

All things we lack unfortunately. Seeing the passion Liverpool played with last night makes me disgusted of our players and management.

when a team is high in confidence it is always like that. They have hit form in the 2nd half of the season when a lot of teams have started going off the boil for one reason or another. They look better then they are because I would not want many of their players despite their current rampage up the league.

In the games I have seen them in, very often, the opposition does not really turn up like Fulham, City, Birmingham and Sunderland. On each of those occasions those teams were really pants and gave the points to Liverpool. Yesterday Schwarzer messed up on the first 3 goals.

They will probably finish 5th but next season they will not do as well because they will get found out. Do you think Maxi will continue to score at his current rate? Suarez does not have the best scoring record so far and Carroll spends most of his time in the treatment room.
