My best mate got me a Signed Spurs shirt for my 30th (I know...I think I love him!), and I'm trying to get it into a frame to display it.

I've phoned a few framing companies in Plymouth this morning and been quoted anywhere between £85 and £120...! For those of you who have got one...does this sound about right?

I'm considering getting hold of a frame (apparently I need a 3d box frame...?) and doing it myself...so for those who have done so, how has this method gone for you?

Any advice will be gratefully received.

Price sounds ok, and better spend that than get a cheap job done (or do it yourself) imo as it will, I hope, be hanging up somewhere people can see it.

I have a Robbie Keane one which isn't great (got a present of it and it's cheaply done).

On the other end of the scale, I was given a shirt from our Carling cup win V Chelsea that the team signed and had it framed with one of the free flags we got that day, for my son's birthday. It cost me €250 but it's worth every penny!!

Whoever you go with, make sure you see an example of their work to give you an idea of what you are getting. You can buy frames for shirts online for £35-ish but IMO the quality isn't all that.

Have a look at this site for some ideas.

that sounds about right. mainly its the glass they use to stop the shirts and signatures fading. i have 3 around my house all cost around £120-140 to get framed but well worth it

Yeah I've got two at home one from a youth player I knew who got it signed for me and another one I got signed when my daughter was a mascot. Both cost about £60 - £80 but that was a few years ago. You want it done right as others have said, as you don't want to put some cheap looking frame up in your pad.

I think mine cost about £65 when I got it done and that was by my ex in Sheffield. Her best mate married Ryan France and at the time he played for hull alongside dawsons brother. Easy Christmas present there , I asked him
Myself! Haha

When the scum won the league my cousin got me a signed shirt to raffle to raise funds for a tournament my side were playing in Queensland. Cost about $120 to frame at the time. Got it done well. Using a bigger frame we included a colour team picture and a list of the seasons results. Worth the effort because we raised $5500 in the raffle. BTW I had my house blessed to be clear of evil spirits once it was all doneEek
