Explain to me how that is in anyway condescending. I have a friend in the industry and was trying to clear something up for someone who didn't understand why a certain match was picked?

How can anyone think that is anyway condescending?

Thanks for the completely ott and unjustified abuse though. It was defo deserved.

Don't mind Bromavinci. He's just still angry that he didn't get a joke about Bayern Munich that everyone else got a few years ago ;)

Then again I am (as it seems our Scouse friend assumes we all are) too stupid to understand the complexities of Skys football scheduling

I think every match should be available to stream via internet for any club

I think the current system is completely retarded
It is in Norway, one of the major pluses about moving here. Every single PL game streamed online for less than £20 a month.

Am I the only one a bit offended by that condescending tone?

Fuck off mate.

It's quite possible that you are. But even if you aren't there's no need to get abusive and react in a manner way out of proportion to someone who is just a 'bit' offended........

Personally I thought what Teola said was more by way of explaining why he couldn't be arsed to get into the nitty gritty, which goes to show that we all read things differently I suppose, but that's by the by. You get my point. There's no need for it.

The argument against this is that many fans would them stop going to games as they can watch all the games on TV. You can see how it would destroy a side like Wigan.
Hasn't tis argument been completely debunked in Germany though? Am I right in thinking they televise all games, yet have the highest average attendances?

But isnt it a lot cheaper to go to watch live football in Germany? I couldn't see most English clubs dropping their prices

Yes. Also Germany have safe standing areas which brings down the price significantly

I'd love to have a standing section at the lane again, bring football back to its working class roots

Doesn't surprise me we won't be on. It always seems like we hardly get any airtime on MotD, be it footage or the analysis afterwards where it's either how good the other team defend vs us when we play good, or how bad we are at the back when we don't. That, along with soccer saturday hardly talking much either, lol. Like others have said I'd assumed we would be on though.

Wigan v Plastic City when we are playing Liverpool. Been some really good games between us over the last few years and even Everton v Arsenal are playing wednesday which is much more worthy than Pie eaters v Lottery winners.

The guy that picks the live fixtures for sky needs to get sheikh monsours cock out of his mouth. I dont pay for bullshit fixtures like this.

joke.
City are the champions of England, currently on a completely different, ie higher, level to us or pool. It's a NW derby, why wouldn't Sky show it?

Better fixtures in my opinion are that of Spurs v Liverpool, Everton v Arsenal, Chelsea v Fulham.

Peace.

Shit! That sounds awesome :)

Is there a way UK fans can somehow sign up?

Unfortunately not. Or well, there probably is but you wouldn't get good enough quality for it to be worth it. With a decent connection you get Full HD streaming here. I've been using the streaming service for three years now and I'm very happy about it.

Genuinely surprised that we have way better Premier League coverage in Norway than you do in UK. Are there no commercial british streaming alternatives that are licensed by Sky sports?

It's still not as much of a quota filler as West Ham v Stoke was. At least Wigan v Shitty should have some actual football.

couldn't give a fuck, going on Wednesay night...better yet I'm flying over on Tuesday with some random bird I've just met, staying in a nice hotel - sending her back on a 6 the o'clock fight on Wednesday after the granny smashing has finished - then heading to the game.....job a good un?

Guys, we're getting massively off-topic here, I think you'll agree. I'm pretty sure we're all here to find out whether Mr. Pink's granny took her dentures out for the blozzer?

The reason you can't watch all the matches on TV or pay for stream is because it would mean a lot of fans will actually not go to the game. Not a huge number but enough so Spurs will most likely loose out on ticket sales.
