Ugh, the club can't win. They don't get anybody who they think is an improvement, damn them, damn them to hell. They try by bidding for a young striker who seems to have it all and is having an exceptional season (if the story is true), damn them, damn them to hell!

Get a grip. We don't sign the cheques, they do, so all we should care is about them providing us with players good enough. This kid seems like he fits the bill. If he's who Harry wants, then we should get him/

you're the mad one.

why are you making a new thread in spurs chat based on something said in the sun and the mirror?

there are no realibe sites reporting this and there are 1569 threads dedicated to transfer rumours in other sections of the SC.

Lack of/too much ambition/money. We must not/need to spend that money on a new stadium/goalkeeper.

Im officially outraged/delighted/horny

He's going to be a top, top player. Big, strong, good with both feet and in the air...

I like him. How much did United play for Rooney.

I like that he has scored goals and played well this season but I don't like that he punches women. It makes me wonder what kind of a person he is and if I want him playing for my team.

That's true, but how well do you really know any of our players?

Maybe this could be taken into consideration in his contract (should he sign, of course). If he scores the winner then he is allowed to punch a lady.

We could exploit character flaws and foibles in other players to give us the edge in these negotiations. Wayne might go for the octogenarian clause, while Christiano could be tempted to sign for a rape allowance.

25m for potential is abit OTT i think.Half a season in the prem is hardly proof he can do the business consistantly, 10m i would think about right for him.

He has shown he is abit of a Geordie arse, likes a few bevvies, scraps and has a dodgey barnet....

Like the saying goes.."under every ponytail there is an arsehole!!"

I think we should be aiming for a bit more class, if we are prepared to go 25m, i would think there are better strikers out there .

I really hope this isn't true. This would be even more retarded than wasting all that money on Bent few years ago.
