With just 9 goals so far this season, Spurs have the 8th lowest strike rate in the Premier League, which belies their 6th place in the table.

After reading 'Wickapedia' this guy really seems to have potential; and, as far as his goalscoring ability goes (9 this season so far), not just for the future either.
I.m.o.15 million seems a bit over the top, but maybe for this sort of talent it will pay off.....

Even though the 9 include at least 3 pens, that's still not bad.

I've rated Berahino since the first time I saw him, as an 19 year old. He's very quick, positionally flexible, quite elusive in and around the box and has a good shot. My only concern is with his ability to play as part of an attacking group - his teamwork - and this isn't really because of any major visible problems, it's just that I haven't seen him play in a team that has any other attacking players of his calibre.

His 5-11 so a lot bigger than Defoe I don't know to much but Kane and him with one senior striker to learn from would be a good shout.

Get him in, sensible price for potential England forward. Btw just looking at Brasil Vs Agentina in Bejing friendly. Lamela started and sucked badly.. Gave away a ball for a goal and has been subbed. smh

It says Spurs have scored 9. Has Berahino scored 9 as well? Wiki say 6 I think but I may be looking at it wrong.

Lamela didn't have a great game but he never gave the ball away, that was a terrible pass from Aguero which was never going to get to him. Mind you it was a curious game, Argentina if anything were overall the more dominant team but neither side looked that good and Messi could just have easily been subbed as he struggled quite a lot too.
I actually felt a bit sorry for Lamela, whenever he found a bit of space and made himself available for a pass no one passed to him, when he was closed down by players invariably he got a pass played to him where he could rarely do anything constructive just simply lay the ball off
