I was worried for a minute when he went down injured, was praying for him to be alright.Tbf to him it's not his fault teams keep buying him and paying him huge wages! I'm sure I'd do the same in his position.
But he is useless. Definitely cheered me up to see his name on their teamsheet.
infairness to Roberto, his tweets looks genuine, and from a man that in my opinion was signed three seasons too late. Never has there been a signing that i longed would do well.
Was that the first time Son, Dele and Eriksen played together this season? It would explain the sudden increase in offensive movement and fluidity. Moura is a great player, and puts a shift in, but tends to be fairly static when we have possession until he gets the ball. Plus Dele, Kane, Eriksen and Son seem to be on the same wavelength and create so much together.
Totally agree but they have had time and know each other. Sometimes you need an X factor in a team, that's Moura for us
If x factor means being able to do something special to change a game then i think eriksen, son, moura, lamela and dele have it. We are blessed in the second 3 role.
We had them for years. They became the team. The xfactor has to be something different. Moura runs at pace and panics defenders, but his first burst of pace is what scares.
I think Poch deserves a lot of credit for his tactics today. He must have realised the potential mismatch in midfield so essentially tried to bypass their superior midfielders. Sissoko and Died seemed to play much deeper than usual, soaking up the pressure and doing the simple things well, not being asked to be too proactive.
We moved the ball much quicker to the front four, nowhere near as much faffing about with the ball in our own half. Great to see such tactical flexibility from Poch.
I'll hold my hand up to being a relentless critic of his. Frankly I didn't think he was really a professional footballer but his performance against Chelsea was fantastic. Well done Moussa !
I haven’t read the match thread yet as was at the game then on the mega death lash but has Dier’s game been highlighted?
That was one of his best performances for a long time. He was asked to be more defensive and play to allow the attackers to do their thing rather than joining in himself. It’s how he should be played and he did the role fabulously.
Jack Pitt-Brooke and Liew have a great admiration for Poch. JPB is a City fan, but I'm not sure who JL supports. His writing in other sports is good, too. What a superbly written article. Really enjoyed that
Watching it back on bt atm... I'd forgotten about his foul and shirt rip on Kane. He's just an all round bell end isn't he?just watched Kane's goal again... what on earth was David Luiz thinking, lol
Someone swapped the Es for laxative, because he shat himself. On the BT Sport coverage, Jake Humphrey was saying how they'd spoken to Zola before the match, who said that Chelsea had a plan for if Spurs try to smother Jorginho like Everton did, but Zola wouldn't say what the plan was.
I going for 'give David Luiz a couple of ecstasy tablets and see what happens'.
