I agree. As well as Moura has played this season I think he’s a bench option. We are so much of a better team with the normal front four. They just know eachother’s game and are better tactically together.
Quite, and given the chance, Lucas will get the same understanding. But it only comes with playing minutes, and from the start, not in the last minutes of games. His pace is unreal, but his play is currently unconnected from the rest of the team. Hook it up and we’ll have another AM to scare the crap out of opponents.

Damn, Gooners won, and once again they got away with a dodgy decision. This means if they beat us next week, they will be above us. Of course, I realise it means nothing, but I hope we don't lose. Emery has his midfield set up better than Sarri, but I took a lot of heart from our midfield yesterday. We may have Rose for for that match, too. Foyth was very good, but is callow. Having Vertonghen back will be a big boost to the way we play.

Caught the back end of that game. They are still very ropey at the back. They can hurt us going forward, even more so at home, but if we play like we did yesterday (maybe a tad more clinical) we could well turn them over as well.

Yesterday's win at least makes the draw a solid result if we end up having to settle for one.

Mate we can destroy them in midfield if we play anything like yesterday. Sissoko on current form will run them ragged.

But yes they will pose an attacking threat for sure but if we win the midfield it limits their attacking play big style.

He was the striker I wanted for years. He led the line for a Valencia team that wasn't too dissimilar to our team at the time in terms of style but then we just had a massive overhaul of the team with Bale going and he actually didn't fit anymore. But what I still love about him is he didn't blame us. He said it was head and he did go through some horrible personal stuff whilst at tottenham. Love that he still follows us.

One things for sure, Poch could have made it work for him in England given enough time...

100%, we should be good enough to beat them, bit more cautious only as we were so poor there last season.

Agree we was poor there last year strange that the team didn't turn up for a NLD but having said that yes we can win it although I have a suspicion this will end all square and I would take that.

Brilliant piece in the Observer today:-
https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2018/nov/24/tottenham-chelsea-david-luiz-premier-league

One paragraph tickled me "David Luiz appeared again suddenly, haring across the skyline like a mystery comet. Except this time he ran straight through Son, or over him, or under him via some hidden tunnel in the Wembley turf".

Another article in the Paper edition - "Their woes were summed up when David Luiz hared into a challenge on Son Heung Min before Spurs' third goal and kept on haring, he got nowhere near the ball and was last seen heading towards Wembley park tube station. :ROFLMAO:

Just watched the BT Sport highlights of Son’s goal. McManaman sounds like he’s having an intense orgasm. As Son gets away from Jorginho he moans ‘Oh my word’ then just a deep groan ‘aaaah’ as he skins Luiz. Is quiet during Son’s celebrations and the replay. Presumably cleaning up?

Did we go three at the back last season against them?

Remember Dembele not having his best game, and Sissoko's confidence was obviously low at that point. Kane came off with 15 to go, and Son didn't even start.... And Lamela was obviously nowhere near the squad as was injured.

Oh yeah, and Alderweireld didn't play. IIRC, it was Dier, Sanchez and Vertonghen as a three, with Davies and Trippier as Wing backs.

Think the side we'll see next Sunday is a good bit stronger.

All I remember is that it was a shocker. We didn't turn up at all. Was during our usual Oct/Nov slump however which we've managed to avoid this year in the league.

We do seem to be hitting form now, expect us to be much better this time regardless of the Inter result.

I'd settle for a draw but wouldn't take it now, think there's a real chance we can turn them over just like Chelsea.

It was a dirt performance but Dean was in charge IIRC and the first goal came from a ridiculously given foul on Sanchez after he won the ball from Sanchez. They hadn't threatened before that. Kane was returning from injury too and his leg was heavily strapped.

I haven’t read the match thread yet as was at the game then on the mega death lash but has Dier’s game been highlighted?

That was one of his best performances for a long time. He was asked to be more defensive and play to allow the attackers to do their thing rather than joining in himself. It’s how he should be played and he did the role fabulously.

gree on this, love the way he went nuts after we conceded, he hates chelsea!
