not the most entertaining attacking wise but that was a great performance. must have been the the most disciplined performance I have seen from us in years. felt we had them under control even though they had the ball most of the time. clinical in attack when it mattered as well.

Can we just say that this is where Jose is an expert.

Ndombele was not tightening the spaces quick enough and City were starting to get a bit too close with space. Jose brought on Lo Celso and City hardly got anywhere near us after that, not only that but we started to have more control with the ball.

That was an astoundingly good performance in terms of attitude, intelligence, organisation and killer instinct.

Top class. We are in the race.
