This situation is where I’m very grateful that davies is in the squad. Arguably better in the heart of defense than at left back.

I was topping up my beer when Harry was running up the field - forgot to stop pouring until I heard the splashing on the vinyl flooring. Delboy moment.

I thought we were really solid today, disappointed to lose Alderweireld but top of the league again so all good!

Extremely important win, and its the WAY we got it that’s the important part. The players will now know that they’ll get results against the best teams if they follow Mourinho’s plans. That’s why this win is so much more important than the three points.

City must have close to a hundred attempts on/off target (including Aguero's missed penalty in CL QF) without a goal at the new White Hart lane.

Pep, with his shiny bald head nestled between his budget Turtle Beach headphones, sits cross legged on his racing car bed complete with racing stripe. His beady, and somewhat feral, eyes are focussed intently on his 22 inch CRT combo DVD/TV device, then he exits his statuesque state and screeches “It’s the scripting! It’s the fucking scripting! MUUUUUM I NEED TO NEW CONTROLLER FOR CHRISTMAS!”

That was outstanding. We look like Jose's Chelsea out there for all the right reasons

It was so nice that we were able to start with a good team, but also able to bring on players like Moura and Lo Celso. Players that you know are going to get stuck into tackles and track back.

As for Kane, his all round game is off the charts at the moment.

Love it that there's more sport on after a great Spurs win. But do I watch Man Utd, Ath Madrid vs Barcelona or the ATP tennis semi-final with Nadal? Why is all the sport on at the same time again after months with no sport at all?
