Couldn't fault the effort, but again the football that went with it had an air of frantic desperation to it at times and we didn't construct much of quality all game.

However we had three excellent openings in the game we didn't take, and conceded a stupid goal from no danger. Only ourselves to blame again really, frustrating but true.

I don't know. The point wasnt to dig Lamela it was more that we need our big 4 back. How many goals did they score last season? Lamela can get goals clearly but we shouldn't rely on it.

We looked ten times better after taking Dier and Dembele off. Winks and Dele looked bright.

Have to say, that Sissoko all-action cannonball mode was good fun.

Decent rally at that game, just the difference in class meant they probably edged it.

Lamela should have taken a touch but it’s hard to as you don’t know who’s up your arse.

Anyone else think Trippier's delivery has been a bit off as well this season? Just doesn't look quite the same to me. I'm pretty sure fatigue is playing a part.

Aurier has done well when played this season so I think he should be given a run.

Trippier has not pushed on. Apart from that free kick agains Fulham he’s has been largely suspect. Not a right back, he’s a winger.
