I'm in a quandary, I mean we must win our first tie in the CL but I also recognise we need to rest one or two.

I think it will be the tried and tested formulas... so Davies will be back, Perisic will start and Kulu back in.

I'd like to rest PEH but he is so vital. Perhaps we need to try to win the game in first hour and then we can rest. I have no doubt Kane would have been subbed off earlier had we been three or four up as it should have been. Same with PEH.

We must beat these arsenal rejects.

It’s not rest. It’s rotation.

The players are being rotated so some can rest and be fresh for when needed.
Rest is a result of rotation, its not like the players not playing are playing a training match instead!

Sure it’s rest. Conte said as much in his post match conference. He said he decided to give some rest for Deki and it’s important for players to get rest during a busy period. It’s not dropping players, it rotating in order to keep everyone fresh and sharp.

To me, rest implies a pecking order, whereas rotation suggests more equivalence between the rotated players. Rotation is where we want to be. Maybe it’s premature, but I’ll indulge in that conceit.

I dont care if they are top of league 1, I don't care if they have loads of gooner rejects, what I care about is this and so should you all. The club charging me £67 for this is a complete piss take, people shouldn't stand for it. Now they have announced that I can invite 4 guests to come with me, now that's a surprise. The club is making £ millions from this and will make a £ million from bar receipts, yet Levy still feels the need to wring the last penny out of us fans. I hope they cant sell the tickets it would serve them right. COYS

The main rotations for me are Doherty for Royal, Sanchez for Romero and Bissouma for Hojbjerg.

I'd go for this:

Lloris
Sanchez Romero Lenglet
Doherty ----------------- Perisic
Bentancur -- Bissouma
Kulu ----------- Son
Kane
Then this v City:

Lloris
Romero Dier Davies
Emerson --------------- Sessegnon
Bentancur -- PEH
Kulu ----------- Richarlison
Kane

Does Romero need to be rotated?

He missed the Forest and West Ham matches.

He looked fucked at the end of yesterday. Missing games through injury isn't the same as being rested.

As I am always behind with the news have only just found out about this new technology that will be in use for the match

On the subject of rotation, when does Dier get a rest and who comes in for him.
