I think Reggie does but his final ball / attempt at goal is usually disappointing and needs improvement. He seems to lack composure and gets flustered and doesn’t take enough care. Compare that to someone like Marcos Alonso (a prick but very clinical).
I agree, mate. He has potential to put in good crosses - like the one for Kane. However, he simply had to score that one on one he had early in the game. He only has one goal for Spurs, which is so poor for an offensive wingback. That said, he offers far more than Royal, Sess and Doherty.

Conte wants us to make the home a fortress. Apparently the pair of jokers both at the back and in the middle didn't get the memo.

Interesting how Hasenhuttl said in his post match interview that they knew Spurs would sit back after scoring because it is what we always do so the moment we went ahead they would have chances if they press.

Yep it was my worry too.

We never kill games off when we go ahead.

Feel like Winks and PEH are going to be clear backups to Skipp and Bentancur for the rest of the season. Every time Winks plays, there's huge gaps on the edge of the box for the opposition. He can't anticipate danger like Bentancur or Skipp. He's worked his balls off tonight to be fair to him but he can't be any more than a squad player for us.
He'd be fine in a three, as would PEH. Neither of them have the mobility or ball retention to play in a two IMO.

Agree. Romero was average. Anyone saying otherwise is just not being objective and actually watching the performance rather than going off the hype. Not saying he isn’t good, just that was a nothing performance.
None of our players were above average tonight,I'm afraid!

Emerson, Davinson, Davies, Hojbjerg & Winks all undone by a complete lack of composure when put under pressure. Wouldn't be surprised to see a few changes for Sunday.

Difficult to look at the positives after such a poor performance - but it was a decent 90 mins for Romero after so long out injured and another impressive cameo for Bentancur, who looked like he settled into the pace of the Premier League immediately. The front 3 also did well on the rare occasions we managed to get the ball to them.

Hasenhuttl just said it.
Southampton continued to play their game but you see it when Spurs score, ‘they go back’ ‘they are not as active’

I have never seen a team that has two completely different ways of playing for when we’re level/ahead or losing.

Why do we only play progressive football when we’re behind.
Just play.
Not all out crazy attack.
Just go forwards, press be active.

Fed up of watching us surrender possession and sit back when we’re ahead, at home, and or against a lower side.

Just doesn’t make any sense
Conte doesn't trust this team. There are players within it that he likes, but as a whole there are some major problems that won't be fixed until new faces come in.

The saving grace is we can get Skipp, Benny back as the midfield two instead of winks and PEH, with Dier replacing sanchez. Doc can’t do much worse than Royal so gladly we do have options to return

Agree with Crouch.
I don’t think we’re good enough to have the luxury of a front three.
We would be better with an extra midfield.
Especially if the midfield two has Winks :-/

With that said, we all know What we really need is an upgrade in CM, CB and RWB.
With a decent sticker option to at least support from the bench

Possibly, just think the problem with Winks is well, pretty much everything. His work rate has improved a lot under Conte and he's progressing the ball much better but ultimately he is not defensively aware, not physical enough and is useless going forward. PEH has that but his deficiencies are in possession. He's too easy to press.

Just so we're absolutely clear about this, how long do you think you have left?

I’ve probably got 50 years in me - and even Im getting to the stage where I doubt that we’ll ever win anything substantial in my lifetime!
