It's never comfortable trying to hang in til halftime and hope we're still level. We're being given a right run around by Southampton here. It'll be astonishing if there aren't changes at half time.

It's too early in Conte's time to think we've turned a corner. But I still kinda thought that before kick-off tonight. This is not a competent performance and we look miles away from a top 4 side.

Can always look at United bossing Burnley for 45 minutes but failing to make it count and meekly accepting a draw in the end. At least none of the sides chasing 4th are consistent.

We do miss Dier.
But Romero has been a class above this evening.
Very unfair to say he isn’t a top player.
Reads the game very well. Makes the challenge at the right time. Steps in front.
What we miss is a competent midfield that can pass and retain the ball.

When Winks, PEH and Lucas are off form and we're up against a good pressing team, we're totally fucked - can neither get nor keep the ball.

Wow, this is awful. Conte is obviously an amazing manager for us but I don't understand why no changes to formation or personnel seem to have been made. We are so fortunate to make half time at 1-1.

An extra body in midfield would help I would think.

I think everyone has to get involved.
As much as our defence looks very fragile, they aren’t solely responsible.
Son, Maura, even Kane aren’t pressing enough up top. Especially Son.
Midfield pressure is poor…..and too much pressure for our rather fragile defence.
