Wow, now he just needs to apologise for the way he's acted for the 3 months previous to yesterday

Yep, yesterday was the straw that broke the camel's back, but Dalglish has been a dick in interviews pretty much since he took over

Amazing that it took a rant from SAF to draw anything resembling an apology from The Bindippers. Too little and far too late IMO. The damage to this once great club (and they were) has been done.

I notice that none of the three "apologies" issued don't make any reference at all to Suarez's original abuse of Evra. Absolutely disgusting.

Just have a look at this thread!

http://www.lfcreds.com/reds/index.php/topic,42281.90.html

They are the worst fans in the prem and are a disgrace. I love spurs, I truly do, but I like to think that if one of our players did something wrong, I would be able to admit it.

They are single-handedly setting our country back 25 years!

Unbelievable isn't it.

This reply had me in stitches;

"Have to be honest and say I'm devastated.
Remember Rafa. He fought for this club.
The players fought for the club.

Right now we seem to be stumbling from one blunder to another.

I can't begin to describe my emotions.
I've been knocking back ignorant Manc arguments all day and this has flattened me.

I'm at a point right now I could just leave football and be done with it.

Meanwhile Terry has cost a good manager his job and nobody gives a sh*t because they'd rather shine the spotlight in us.

Lowest I've felt in awhile.
Hope the rest of you stay strong in this tough time.
Good luck.

Much love to you."

Wow - didn't see the Kenny apology coming. It was clearly reluctant though. There must have been a lot of pressure directly from the owners.

I agree with your comments Walworth. The thread is a disgrace. I got a sense of deja vu when reading it. Of course it's the American owners fault again, how dare they interfere with LFC

Most footie fans can be deluded about their clubs but this mob really do take the biscuit.

Far too late but at last Kenny shows some recognition that his player has been a dick. I reckon he's been leaned on very heavily to get him to say that but hopefully now it's all over.

But even if this is the end of it, Liverpool as a club have fallen very far in almost everyone's estimation this year. I hope 'King Kenny' keeps taking them backwards to the mid-table obscurity that their behaviour has deserved.

Noticed that too.

Also, for all the apologies, have Liverpool or Suarez actually apologised to Evra for either of the incidents?

It's not an apology from Kenny or Saurez, it's a forced statement from the club owners who are in turn owned by NY times.

This made headline news in the states, and these statements are blatantly in reaction to that.

Love this from RAWK...

FFS, gutter press, Ferguson and his cronies in the FA get their way again.

God they really are a deluded bunch aren't they? The FA and Ferguson have done brilliantly to control Luis Suarez's mind to make him make racist comments, not back down from them, then not shake Evra's hand, whilst at the same time controlling Dalglish's mind to make him a stubborn arse who has come across as supporting racism.

Machiavellian genius.

Agreed. Shareholders over in the states are worried about how this could affect their bottom line so the statements on the website have been made.

I see Utd have accepted the apologies.

Wow, how deluded are Liverpool fans?

I can only feel embarrassed today. Suarez didn't need to say sorry. Kenny didn't need to say sorry.

As many have said, I hope FSG were not pressuring them. Especially Kenny. He CERTAINLY didn't need to say sorry for anything.

Suarez must feel like sh*t today. Really must be questioning if his future is in England or not.

That whole thread is genuinely worrying as well as being very funny. Not one poster thinks Suarez has done anything wrong. I genuinely believed Liverpool fans were the most fair and knowledgable fans around, particularly when calling talksport etc, but these last few months have changed everything for me. On the whole, they are quite despicable.

It's baffling it really is, but when the manager and the club stand by a racist comment it's perhaps not surprising. Dalglish has been trying to unite the fans in this ridiculous stance to try and distract them from the fact that he's doing a very poor job, and it's worked. Instead of looking at their terrible performances, the fans are instead defending Suarez and yet again enjoying the victim mentality that they so love.

Mickey mouse behaviour from them recently and it'll be hard to forget.

None of Liverpools statements apologised towards Man Utd did they? Don't see why United would accept them if they haven't been offered any
