Arsenal are about to lose Serge Gnabry to Bayern, who are then going to loan him to Werder Bremen.

Joe Hart has just joined Torino on loan. Interesting move! First English goalie to play in Serie A apparently.

But how about this:

Wouldn't have had a problem with us taking a punt of Munir. Loan with a £10 million option to buy.

And they're trying to get Hernandez from Hull for £20 mil too. Crazy money for Championship clubs.

Yep, Championship clubs are able to spend more than us... Crazy

Sadly, able to and wanting to are two different things. I'm sure we can fork out that kind of money but we aren't going to. Don't want to risk it whilst the stadium is being built, or at least that's the excuse. Not sure how true that is.

Qualifying for CL and the ridiculous TV money in the PL this year must mean we're sitting on a fortune. Prob pumping it into stadium costs but I'm sure we had those costs planned out regardless. I'd like to see us be a bit more ambitious considering we are in the actual CL this year and need to make that sort of calibre of signing. I'm not saying throw it down the drain but if someone like Draxler wants to leave then why not put in a £30-40m bid? Do what our rivals did with Sanchez and Ozil and put your hand in your pocket for quality that'll strengthen thr first team, as well as bolster squad depth with the likes of Janssen and Wanyama.

Disclaimer: Draxler is just an example. Not saying he's attainable for that price or would want to come to us.

What do we know about Arsenal's new signings, Lucas Perez and Shkodran Mustafi?

From my limited knowledge, the latter seems to have a top class pedigree and reputation, but the former is a little bit of an odd purchase. I'm not a fan of Spanish football so I don't really know either of them.

Perez is the sort of signing Spurs would have made when Hoddle was manager and we struggled to attract top class talent, and ended up over paying for mediocrity.

Ya. I was saying I would have liked it to be us rather than Valencia. Maybe it was part of the Alcacer deal though so wouldn't have been an option for us.
Exactly, but whats surprising is Valencia have an option to buy Munier for £10 mil and Barca would only have sales % if Valencia activate his buy out. Really surprised Barca didn't add a buy back clause for someone they valued as much as Munier.
