Liverpool are buying an Estonian centre back who is 30 and giving him a 3 year contract. They're not very good at transfers are they?!?!

His 'transfer' pic is hilarious too. "Look at these guns, perfect for dragging people down like Skertel."

Paul Pogba will join Manchester United

Paul Pogba will become the most expensive signing in the history of football and will join Manchester United this summer, according to our colleagues at L’Équipe.

After negotiations began yesterday between Juventus and Manchester United, the Red Devils saw an offer worth €101m rejected.

Between that occurring and now, two things have happened, according to the French football newspaper’s website.

One, Juventus have accepted Paul Pogba’s decision to leave.

Two, Manchester United have accepted to pay what Juventus demanded yesterday, €120m plus bonuses.

Mino Raiola, according to certain indiscretions aside from this new report, has agreed a €24m package from Manchester United.

This would take the transfer to €144m, excluding bonuses.

Final details will need to be agreed in the coming days, but Paul Pogba is now set, barring an extraordinary u-turn, to re-join Manchester United.

I don't think I've ever wanted a player to flop so badly. Nothing against him at all, but would just be hilarious if for some reason he just doesn't settle and ends up back at Juve.

Insane money for a player that's very good but certain could be better. For £100 million or whatever the exact fee is I would expect a player of Scholes or Xavi's quality. What a world we live in.

Lol United are a joke for paying that, what a desperate club they've become.
He's never even looked worth 30 million

It's an awfully big risk based on potential and hoping it works for him in the prem

Good signing. Best young player in the most important position.

Er, they are completely different positions. The reason why people say he isn't worth the money is because he's to a goalscorer.

Let me tell you, Roy Keane was the best player in that United side. And Vieira the best in the invincibles. Pogba has 10 years of being the best midfielder in the world. Definitely worth it.

For £144 million you can:
  • Buy 77 Bugatti Veyrons
  • Buy 4094kg of 24 carat gold
  • Build 4 Eiffel Towers
  • Buy 36 million chickens
  • Buy 626 average-priced houses
  • Buy 221879 IPhone 6s
  • Buy 1 Paul Pogba
It's fucking ridiculous ffs. He's a great player and all, but no one is worth £144 million...

No Scholes was the best player in the United side and Ive seen Pogba enough and he not at Keane's or Viera's level, maybe in the future but that's potential. In football it's all opinions but it's not just me that think Pogba has a lot to prove and I not simply referring to his performances for France.

Why does anyone care, esp other clubs, what is paid. Are they stronger in midfield? Yes. Could he be brilliant and be a game Changed, quite possibly. Weather
Utd bought him for 5 mill or 100 what does it matter to us than how good he is

HAHAHA! This is a guy that left them on a free transfer a few years ago because they didn't want to pay him the wages he obviously deserved for his talent. Now they pay £100m for him. This has to be one of the worst transfer in history from that perspective.
