Don't think this is a reliable source, but if true, it probably means we've given up on Zaha before the window's even opened:

Tottenham strike £12.5m deal with Galatasaray for Bruma

Tottenham have reached an agreement with Galatasaray over the transfer of the Portuguese winger Bruma.

A source close to the Istanbul giants have revealed to Turkish-Football that informal talks have been held with Tottenham regarding Bruma.

Per the source the two parties have struck a deal in the region of £12.5 million.

However, a formal bid has yet to be made and Tottenham have not discussed personal terms with Bruma.

I think his agent has been hawking him all season and we are being used to drum up interest. Doubt we are interested.

Sounds like Bruma has had a decent season. One of a few players we are repeatedly linked with - Meyer, Insigne some others!

Just seen that Galatasaray released a statement denying it!

Today in Sabah Newspaper, our professional footballer Bruma wants a 100% raise as a condition to make a new contract with our club and this request was rejected by our Board of Directors and a notice was sent to our player that the transfer proposal from England Premier League team Tottenham Hotspur was taken into consideration.

In this news that is not really interesting, there is no official offer to reach us, just as there is no secret agreement for the price of the club that has been named.

We would like to inform you that we will meet Ali Sami Yen Sports Complex Turk Telekom Arena on the weekend before the news of the match will be broadcasted on Fenerbahçe Derby and all sportsmen, especially our fans, should not mention the news.

Hoffenheim as well. Nearly got relegated before Nagelsmann took over.

Atletico Madrid's rise in the past 5 years is better than ours given they've won a title against massive odds and have been in two CL finals. They also won the Copa del Rey in 12/13 and the Supercopa in 14/15.

Monaco have been excellent this year, but their entire history is dotted with similar high highs and low lows.

Nice are unexpectedly good this season, though whether they can continue is a mystery.

So yeah, Atletico Madrid is a better rise than us imo.

I'd agree with Atletico actually, but none of the other have consistently been on the rise like us, especially considering the money in the premier league and how well we are doing against powerhouses like City, United, Chelsea and Liverpool who don't care about fees / wages etc. It's truly been remarkable.

Would anyone take depay?
I would love zaha, but he is gonna cost a boat load even with the one year left on his contract.

Depay is still a United player, so it's not going to happen. Even then he has a questionable mentality.

KWP can play on the left as well. I'd like to know how he'd compare there against Sessegnon.
He's looked nowhere near as good on the left as he does on the right.

It's much in the same way that Naughton could play on the left.

He could do it, just not very well.

Our squad is so strong. We should just be focusing on youth. Zaha in Sissoko out and id be happy and some other sub 10 mill kids... Not even sure how much game time zaha would get anyway should put injuries not be as bad next season... Crazy days. How on earth have we got this team with our net spend. Fair play Enic. You're making everyone else look like amateurs.

whilst he's obviously better on the right i wouldn't go as far as to compare him to naughton. kwp is quick, agile and for a full back an exceptional dribbler, he's far harder to tie down on the ball than someone like naughton who is pretty average across the board.

I think we'll be priced out of a move for Zaha, can see Steve Parish demanding silly money for him and us being forced to look elsewhere.

Barkley to us I see as nailed on, knowing how much Poch rates signing from within the prem and English players in general. He'd be very important for us too, in the opening stages of this year and when we went on that winless streak we could have done with an extra creative force, eriksen was just not at the races. IMO that really killed us moving the ball quickly enough, we just couldn't get it to our fullbacks in space and stretch teams, or supply enough chances to our finishers in general. Obviously there were other factors initially like dembele being out, I just feel having a Barkley would have helped.

Also the fact that he's coming into the last year of his contract and Everton are open to selling him will make Levy's eyes light up. He's also at the age where he needs to start seriously kicking on in the next few years. He has to see Poch as the best manager/coach around for improving players, and us as a young team full of players in the England team and really rate that. I think he'd be a great addition, strong physical attributes with no shortage of skill, but still room for improvement with his best years ahead of him.

I'd sign sessegnon and loan him back, at 16 playing week in week out for a team playing good possession football has been doing wonders for him clearly. Haven't seen much of him live admitley but doesn't take a genius from highlights/stats/all the chat that he's got something special for such a young player. Another season like this bring him in at 18 years old and let poch start working his magic, as he has done with shaw/clyne/rose/walker, we must surely be his first choice with our manager's track record with developing full backs.

Lamela will be like a new signing next season for us too really. I'd go with this:

IN: Barkley, Sessegnon
OUT: Sissoko, Sessegnon (loan), Onomah (loan)

Two sensible signings but we still need at least another 2 who are capable of challenging the 1st team as we've lacked depth at times this season.

I love the Bruma kid, think he is the closest you will get to a Sadio Mane at a relatively cheap price. He has blistering pace been criticised for his finish/passing but think he is just as gifted as a Mane/Zaha in that department. Biggest thing for me about him is the kids intense work rate
