I swear we announced Wimmer whilst on a post-season tour. Poch and Levy did a Q&A and Levy mentioned how they had announced Wimmer earlier that day.

Just seen the news about Allardcye. Agree we should get in there quick.

Would definitely prefer him to Barkley, although we'll probably sign Barkley as he'll be cheaper.

I dont know if he would. You cant drill a new brain into someone and that is exactky where Barkley's issues are. All the talent in the world but he has a very low to non existant footballing IQ. One of the most frustrating players to watch as he's constantly making the wrong decisions or holding the ball for way too long. He hasnt improved in 3 years.

In all honesty, he's clearly a good player with massive potential but where does he fit into our squad? Danny Rose is the best LB in the league and it'd be incredibly harsh to shaft Ben Davies.
