I'd absolutely love Sessegnon as well as he looks like he can play left back, left wing back and also left midfield / left side of attacking trio in a 4-2-3-1.

Very flexbible option. Only concern is he's a little young but he does look a proper player.

Two ITK's claiming we've agreed a deal then, clearly promising!

What a great start Sessegnon would be - with the added benefit of pissing off Pool fans (again)
who was the other ITK that said it? could not find it. cheers

I don't agree with this at all. He's got good vision, plays lots of nice through balls for Lukaku etc. His weakness is decision making - when to play the percentages, when to try the killer ball. That's the sort of thing that Poch, and his clear footballing vision can help.

Well yeah there's that, but his natural physique means he'll always be on the heavy side of optimal power to weight. If he could somehow shift a few kilos and get a little more acceleration into his game he'd be on a different level. If he gets that separation from defender and his head up he'd be super dangerous.

I'm still on the fence on this one. He wouldn't be a flop but I'm just not sure I see him developing much further

He's got that sort of Gazza burst of pace. He's not that fast but he can go past people and use his strength to hold them off. We know Poch likes powerful players though...

I'm not sure I totally agree with that, but if your right he's sounding like he has the potential to be competition to Dembele.... which wouldn't be a bad thing

Had a dream last night that next season Sessegnon and Edwards broke through like Alli two years ago, and our attack became even more scintillating. And then I went back to dreaming about boobies, lots of nice boobies...

sounds like the tits, to me!

I read it as two itks claiming we've put a contract offer on the table for the lad.

Lol.

Would certainly be interesting if we signed him given we should be keeping Dier, Alderweireld and Vertonghen.

I know it's a squad game but that would be some fierce competition!
looks like he can play right back and centre back. Could this be our defensive group next season:

LB
Rose
Sessegnon

LSCD
Verts
Davies

CCD
Toby
CCV

RSCD
Dier
Veltman

RB
Trippier
KWP

This would also clearly allow Davies and Veltman to play at LB/RB as needed AND Dier to play in midfield with Veltman moving to RSCD
