Really would have liked Zaha. The black box has really struggled to find us an adequate pace merchant, and I think there is need for one on the bigger wembley pitch. I also had this vision of him being an unreal RWB option.

Does make you question if Palace can now afford two £110kpw players, and the likes of Leicester can also break that barrier, possibly Watford too with Deeney I believe, why we can't start upping our cap. Although I do have a feeling there'll be a few new contracts in the next 12-18 months anyway so won't go back to flaying Daniel Levy just yet...

I don't like the idea of selling Walker to City to strengthen them without getting something in return other than money, Inneacho would of been great but it looks like he could be headed to Dortmund to replace Aubemeyang.. I'd like us to try our arm for Silva on a Adebayor type deal that see's City make up the shortfall in his wages for 2 years.. with City been linked with Kroos, Isco & Rakitic maybe they might be willing to sell Silva.. convincing him to join us might be a problem & really unlikely I know but it would be worth an effort.

The Premier League is in such a funny place at the moment. One one hand we can't lever players out of clubs like Palace because they are flush with cash, but on the other hand the likes of Chelsea and City can offer riches untold to our players or ones we'd like to sign from abroad.
