So we’ve been linked with Andersen £25m, Ings roughly £15-20m given contract, £25-30m for Sabitzer..I’d love Max Aarons- another £25m. That’s roughly 100m in 4 purchases that I think make a major difference. Our sales would need to be very close to 100m this summer also, that’s the difficult part.

I imagine we would be looking closer to £15-18M for Andersen.

Sabitzer has a year left on his contract so you'd imagine Levy would be reluctant to pay over £25m.

So signing all four of those players for £80m would seem ambitious but possible.

You would hope that selling Winks, Dier and Dele would bring in a minimum of £65m, and that's before you add in the likes of Doherty, Davies, Sissoko, Foyth, Gazzaniga, Sanchez, Alderweireld and Lamela.

No reason we should be looking at any less than £160m if all of those players were to leave. We just need Levy to stop fucking around to squeeze the last penny out of every deal, and get the deadwood shifted early so that Jose or whoever the manager is at that point can have a full summer of properly rebuilding.

if we looked to sell Dele, we wouldn't sell for anything less than 40m.

With the chance of Nagelsmann being coach next year, I wonder if we may start to see a new batch of players linked. I can imagine Sabitzer will be very much still a target mind.

I wouldn't be paying any mind to the media as to who our supposed targets are with the way things are personally.

Andersen would be fantastic. I actually see him as a very similar player to Botman, in that both are comfortable on the ball, big, tall, have great success in aerial duels. Andersen right footed as opposed to Botman being left footed, but I think Andersen has much better footwork and is quicker on the turn. Don't wanna here stuff about signing a relegated CB either, he's stood out in the league and was named captain less than a month after his arrival.

The fact Fulham even have a chance of surviving is incredible considering the start of the season.

Those four players would cover our most urgent areas, fair bit of quality there too.

If we sell Doherty we could put Tanganga right back and not need Aarons.

Thanks Trix. I wont trouble you for clarification, but everyone else - does this mean that Jose is on the brink of exit and his list of players is therefore irrelevant. Or does it mean we are struggling for transfer funds?

It means the likes of Andersen, Skrinirar can be taken with a pinch of salt because Jose unlikely to be there next season?

Targets will change whoever new man is that comes in.

I don't see why.

We have a scouting team put in place to oversee any transitions in management. I am not going to pretend I have seen much of Fulham but have read very good things about Andersen. Given that Fulham will get relegated, Lyon will likely listen to offers and we need a centre back this deal should certainly be pursued regardless of whether Jose stays or not.

Skriniar hasn't been mentioned for a long time but outside of keeping tabs on him I doubt he is a target.

That's not the way we (or most clubs now, I think) operate really. The much maligned Hitchen and his team will have a long list of players to discuss with whoever comes in, but I very much doubt someone will come in and the precise players the manager would like. If we get both Nagelsmann and Sabitzer, for example, it will be a happy coinicidence.

I mean i'd like Andersen in but lets say Nagelsmann comes in and doesnt want to play Andersen because he isnt quick enough to play the high line?

Surely hitchen bringing in players before the potential of a new manager coming in is utter madness?

It''s a fair point. Something I have mentioned in my disappointment at ENIC's running of the club is the lack of consistency and putting a plan in place.

Arnesen and Jol spoke often of playing variations of a 433 throughout the club with a consistent style of football. This was desinged so implementation of youth players to the first team would be easier. Then Arnesen left and Comolli came in and the plans were scrapped. It has been completely scattergun ever since.

But this is the way we do business. If Andersen is available to us we will buy him. Whoever the manager is needs to manage what is available to him. If he is inflexible in his playing style and the current squad are wrong for him then he is wrong for us.

Possibly. But with the potential return of fans next season I can see levy going for it. Once the stadium is up and running it is a money printing machine. Obviously we won’t go mad but I bet we are active. Especially if we get a new manager in.

I took it to mean we are skint and unless there is any outgoings I wouldn't worry to much about incomings. So don't expect too much.

Yep. Sounds like it from Ali Gold. Levy struggles to shift one player out the door so god knows how he will get 4 or 5 out.

Levy’s wheelbarrow full of cash will probably be more of a trowel this summer. One he’s been cleaning up after the dogs with.
