Ahhhh the familiar whiff of a match day thread. oh how I have missed thee.
Glad to see we're getting into our groove as excellent fans in the pre-season.
Calling our own players 'shit', 'prick' etc.
Keep this up chaps and by the time we get to the first game of the season we'll be truly ready to lay into Paulinho and Chadli as soon as they make the smallest mistake. COYS!
What's interesting is that people are taking this really seriously. It's pre season just enjoy the fact that the spurs are on. We are playing our 3rd and 4th choice cb, 2nd choice LB, missing a whole midfield (Sandro,Dembele and Paulinho) oh and of course just a little lad called Gareth Bale. Add to that they are playing with flippers and snorkels on.
If anyone is negatively judging any of our players based on this you need your heads looking at.
Dawson, Hudd (mistake apart) Ade and Gomes decent
Caulker, Dempsey, Siggy must do better
Lots of energy from Parker but not excactly sure what he is really doing.
Overall difficult conditions, some don't want to be out there.
However Ade maybe surprisingly, has really applied himself.
Am I?Enfield have you used this game as an excuse for an early drink or something? Settle down, you're making a fool of yourself.
if you want to carry on calling people clueless mugs then you wont be commenting.
The problem with Hudd is that he is far too slow for the Premier league, if he makes a mistake he cannot recover. He has never lived up to his potential since joining from Notts Forest and he has had a lot of opportunities. Time for him to move on and I doubt it will be Premiership team.
Huddlestone is over-weight, he's been lighter, slimmer, quicker, and more nimble in the past, since he came back from his injuries he's been larger, slower, and less agile. You can see it every time he has to change direction, like a fat man, if your weight isn't already moving one way then you just can't do it. So no, not a myth, the myth is that it is a myth that Huddlestone is merely slow, but normal weight for his size.
Huddlestone has one bad touch and is getting crucified because of it. He actually has been playing pretty well and his passing has been decent.
Do a lot of you guys just go round effing and blinding about everything all day? Or is it just when it comes to watching Spurs that you have to rip the shit out of everything? Blood pressure must be through the roof lads!
Have a snickers.
I can't say I agree with that tbh. He has just picked the ball up and rolled it on 2 yards to the next man. Parker has done exactly the same but people aren't claiming he is controlling the game.
Huddlestone has been outpaced every time someone has run at him, has continued to be very slow on the turn and is seriously lax in control. I realise the conditions are poor but that was a horror mistake from Huddlestone, and is something he does too often irregardless of conditions. I know it is preseason but that is troubling.
