It's fair to give a player some slack in his first game in a new league. Especially when the rest of his team are playing like donkeys.

Oh I agree, I'm not judging him - it's just a comment as to whether he's provided anything in this game different to Lamela. Except that Lamela can at least take a corner.

Not sure if have given him his debut away from home on a game like today. From the bench, maybe.
