Well done to Tim and the team today.
Tim showed the tactical nous today, especially second half, telling young Bentleb to sit and protect the back 4.
Tough couple of months ahead and this will be were Tim earns his money.
But hes taking us in the right direction and a few tweaks along the way and we can become a seriously good team.

I'd bid for Bony over Benteke.
I see where you're coming from but there's something about Bony's attitude that puts me off. I don't read 'team player' when I watch him.

I think benteke is a better fit all-round and especially as an option if Ade is out - great in the air, decent pace, amazing target man/hold-up play, great shot on him and good team player.

Personally if Ades out, i would play Soldado.

Although Hoddle does speak some shit, we could make a huge mistake letting Defoe go with no replacement. Anything happens to Ade in last few months, you've got one goal from open play Soldado an Kane left. Imagine us needing a goal in the final game to make champs league and only having
Kane on bench. I too like Bony, just look at his scoring record!
Totally agree, we cant let that one league goal go without being replaced, it would be suicidal in the top four race.

Bony = a taller stronger Defoe. Shift and shoot. All power, no precision. Not a bad thing. But he'd frustrate us.
Good player but not great.

I thought Bony was excellent today, why were we not looking at this guy in the summer?
The guy is a beast and would give ANY defender a hard time.
I think there were a quite a few of us who were asking the same question this summer. He had Levy written all over him with his price.

I still think Soldado will come good, but Bony would have been a nice piece of business as well.

Fair point mate, but I guess it depends if he will follow through and use Lamela in behind a forward. I'm looking forward to seeing that,

Bony plays for the Ivory Coast and so if Adebayor stays we would lose two forwards during the ACN, whereas Benteke is Belgian and so that problem would not arise.

Another great win for Sherwood. Keep it going lads.
7 wins out of 8 remaining home matches can be achieved which could bring us to 64 points invho - of away games , the ones coming up and maybe last two look best bets so one could argue maybe winning 2 to 3 of those like hull away west brom away etc !!! Winning home games here on in is vital at this stage

I imagine you are basing that on one game? Check out his scoring record his whole career

We can barely win a game at home! More likely to win more away than at the lane

Well we haven't had Soldado injured so far so Defoe hasn't played.so we have 2 center fwds plus Kane the last 6 weeks of the season. if this comes back to bite us it's Levi's fault

Played with real cutting edge today. Was a joy to see. Looked more dangerous than we have all year.

I am not sure we need a bony\benteke. I feel like adebayor and saldado are a great first choice. I think we need a younger player who is slightly readier than Kane. With a quality up and coming player, that 4 would be perfect.

Tims league record.
P6 W5 D1 L0 F13 A4 Pts 16

Man maths tells me that's an 86% win ratio. Further that's points average of 2.66 points per game.
2.16 Goals for.
0.66 goals against.

And yet there's still people moaning.

True but like Rodgers says every game left should and needs to be treated like cup final - apart from city and arsenal we should really be winning all our home games now and fact is we owe arsenal one so I remain positive there but your right we are pants at home
