It's a crazy how many players of a similar standard we have. Just think Sandro, Paulinho, Vertonghen, Kaboul, Lamela, Townsend all still to come back. It will be very difficult to keep this squad happy.

No, I like and enjoy following Spurs and dont continually whine and find the need to "bitch slap" anybody.

I have got behind and supported all our managers. I might not like aspects of their characters, but I try and not let my criticism turn into dogma and persistent negativity. I criticise them all at times but my overriding attitude is they will be doing their best. In Tim's case he is doing well, but will lose games. I hope that we as a group of Spurs fans will start to mature and stop the banal, blame game.
I have personally given the Team and manager support, whoever they maybe.
Opinion and internet go hand in hand.
Dont like the comments press the ignore button, easy.
You dont mind berating players as you have done in the Lamela thread.
So in general we all support spurs and we all have a opinion as do you.

I don't think Lamela is injured, and the club are trying to shut his brother up about it.

Is Lamela fit or not?

Nothing indicates to me that he is fit.

The team makes sense and does show that Tim has some idea of the need for tactical flexibility, but as it stands today we have £55 million worth of players not playing and as a club we simply cannot afford to do that.

What we cannot afford is to pick team by transfer fees paid, what our manager cannot afford is not to pick XI he thinks best equipped for 3 points on a given day.

Damn you all, Sherwood has been clear that he see's Lamela as having a massive future for us, but he isn't going to throw him in until he's ready. Tim obviously thinks he isn't yet, no big deal.

yeah, Dembele, Eriksen, Lennon and co are basically championship standard arent they. Routledge, Shelvey and Britton are going to totally dominate us.

they are at times. and as usual you take post up wrong.. that midfield of ours does not scare anyone.. you put a modric or a bale or someone like that even sandro in and it says something way way stronger and makes opposition think we in for a game today and need to be on it.. that midfield is not the greatest and its either really good or really fucking bad.

It's a flexible formation. Dembele and Nabil will stay central. Eriksen, Chadli and Lennon could interchange.

  1. Spurs manager Tim Sherwood: "The change of shape will mean very little. There will be more rotation up there to cause Swansea a few problems. Roberto Soldado looked like he needed a rest. "The expectancy is not so great away from home and that has suited us. We know Swansea are very brave on the ball and look to play, we have to impose ourselves on them."
Another subtle dig at the home fans. Even though I totally agree with him it won't work, they won't learn.
