hope he leaves, the guy is pretty much just here for the ride, he puts the foot in but dosent really bring anything more to the team than micky brown did, plus hes almost as bad with the injurys as ledley is.

if we can make some money on him we should

We need a player that on-one notices - a player that just gets on and does the simple, bread and butter stuff. Every team needs one of these types. We have Teemu and before that we had Freund and before that etc...

I think you'll find that we do need a player other teams notice. I attack breaking DCM like Vieira, Makelele etc...

That is why we have been so poor, because we have to rely on players like Tainio and Freud; neither of which would get anywhere near a squad of the top 4.

He's a great squad player. has done very well in the games he plays. would be a sham for him and us but i understand the decision if true.

Blimey Ramos has made some serious changes, I remember when Chris Hughton made all the sandwiches….

Apparently we've already signed him, it just that nobody has noticed him...

I doubt the money we'd get in transfer fees and savings in wages would justify getting rid of a good squad player like TT.

I like the player, gets stuck in and harries the opposition. That's exactly how teams have done well against the Ar$e this season and I don't think we have many midfielders who can do that better than him. We'd do worse than include him in the starting XI on the 22nd for that reason (I'll get lambasted for that but just to make a point).

I agree he’s good to have around, but his injury situation is a bit of a worry…

TT may not have started, but he's been named in squads and come on as sub - most recently last Sunday v Manchester City.

Please remember that this is on the Daily Mail site. That site - as I found out from one of the journos that works for the paper - is not run by journalists. It's run by kids that surf the web for stories which they reprint on their site. Spurs' stories get the most hits so they are keen to put as many up as possible to get an impressive number of page hits.

FACT! :wink:

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

If I remember correctly it was the Mail that ran a piece which began "my English isn't that good but here goes...." as "an exclusive interview with Tottenham Chairman Daniel Levy". They had to apologize and pull the piece from their website.

Yes, they are complete & utter ***!!>X***s.

However, children are only marginally more expensive than chimpanzees, so I can see another wave of cost-cutting coming soon....

Are they really children, as in under 18s, or sort of interns without degrees? I heard that it's so hard to get a job in newspapers these days that the papers run a sort of pool of unpaid early 20-somethings for the menial stuff, ensuring that there are fewer jobs for them to get.
