And some people think he’s our best defender ?
I really don’t think that’s funny. Sanchez didn’t do well there but do you think it such a good idea to embarrass one of our players by bringing this up again? Do you think this is going to increase Sanchez’ value to any suitors for his services?

Sick of all this negativity being directed at so many of our players by posters in this forum. If you’re fed up with most of our players why not support another team? Man City might be a good place for some. But then again I imagine the knives will be out at the slightest faltering.

I for one find it hilarious to think someone from Sevilla moseys on over to SC and comes across that gif for the first time and thinks “holy shit, we should NOT sign that guy.”

Bloopers are a part of every single sport. They are generally funny, are one-off things and will always be around. Sure, I maybe joked that we hope Tomiyasu isn’t Sanchez and his flair for the deadfish defending-style, but it was all in jest.

So according to you the first thing a prospective buyer is going to do is pop on to SpursCommunity to get the vibe. No in-depth scouting or analysis. No. Snarfalicious posted a GIF of a comically bad bit of defending from Davinson...thats it lads we're out.

Just watched a 9 minute compilation of Tomiyasu and thought "he looks like a really good all round footballer".

As an experiment I then watched a 9 minute video of Davinson Sanchez to see if editing can make anyone look good. About 80% of the video was just him making extremely rudimentary defensive headers and clearances.

My conclusion: Tomiyasu might actually be good.

EDIT: Videos for reference

Actually the first video I've watched of him. He looks a lot more agile than I imagined.

I initially thought he was a cb who could play at fb. I now think it's the other way round.

I could be wrong, but I have a funny feeling Sanchez isn't sitting on SC weeping with embarrassment at the GIF.

I also suspect the Sevilla chairman probably isn't making frantic phone calls upon witnessing @Snarfalicious post:

"CALL OFF THE DEAL - THE MAN'S A CLOWN"

It's a funny post on a silly Spurs forum. If you can't laugh at that Sanchez blooper then there's nothing else to do but cry - and as Spurs fans we don't need more reasons to do that.

Romero (and now Kane) has really drawn a lot of attention since this is only on 46 pages. Guy looks like a serious baller, and has some real Verthongen’esque to his game. Could take really well to the PL by the looks of it!

I'm not sure if this has been posted, but this is an interesting read. He was part of the Barcelona academy as a youngster.

With this constant sniping at so many of our players I wonder how many of them are ‘satisfactory’ to quite a few so-called fans in this forum.

I get it that Sanchez is now the butt of people’s jokes. How many other players are not acceptable? It seems to me that there is a preponderance of players that are not liked by some posters here. It’s a team sport. Support the team. Maybe some people just want to win things. If that’s the case then it might be best to join Kane and head over to Man City. I prefer the journey - a bit of a struggle. When victory comes it’ll be so much sweeter.

I understand that we can’t be entirely happy with all our players - but it seems to me that so many just don’t appreciate the majority of our players.

Looks really exciting but didn't we sign Gil while he was at the Olympics?

I guess he had his medical earlier or the Spanish authority were ok with him doing it during the Olympics, the Japanese weren't by the looks of it.
