The book was never properly published (apparently) so I'm not really sure how copyright law applies but people seem to think the author wouldn't be bothered anyway so until we hear otherwise we'll assume it's ok.

Wow! Get those flares!

I thought for a moment one of them was me, but alas, not.

I think the "Nazi" boy was Joey Wizz. It wasn't a nazi thing in those days, more of a skin/anti commie thing, nothing about Jew haters or anything like that, his Dad was Polish.

If you knew him or still do know him - He is a nice bloke, and if you called him a nonce
I don't think he would like it too much. I think he ran a drinker near the ground maybe it was legends ?

Photo.
33. Keith Robinson
41. Sean Whitbourne & Phil Nation, Sean was a gooner but loved a scrap (hard bastard)
so came with us for a tear-up when he felt like it.
85. Graham "Flacko" Thaxton & Terry ?

I know lots of the faces but can't remember or never knew all the names.

I've only looked at one of the albums so far, back later.

They will be pleased you put their names up on a football forum. A lot of the blokes in these pictures still go.
The bloke who did the book (Paul?) did it for some university thing apparently. Try and read the text at the back, fucking hilarious.
The one with the nazi badge is a mate of mine, he is far from a nonce. The place he had over Spurs was the pleasure rooms the old union place near where asda`s is now.

I went to the pleasure rooms once, before we beat sunderland on last day of the season.
there was a comedian on in there who got absolutely caned by us fans! chants of 'you're supposed to be funny'.
the strippers were quality, getting loads of yids up on stage!! Sammy jessop was one i think.

last i heard it was shut down due to someone getting killed there!

This book obviously has cult status, but can someone please explain what it's all about? Why was it written? It was never published though?

I've heard about it before, would be interested to know the story behind it.

I think its to do with spurs european travels. hence the song 'Tottenham boys, we are here, shag your women and drink your beer'!

could be seen as the first hooligan book maybe.

The Pleasure Rooms features on http://www.derelictlondon.com/id1974.htm along with the Prince of Wales, the Rose and Crown and the Plough, although it wasn't a pub, strictly speaking.
