Team for tomorrow would be Lloris, Trippier, Davies, Alderweireld, Wimmer, Bentaleb, Mason, Onomah, Lamela, Son and Chadli.

Sadly it's a non event, I hoped we put in a stronger team in the first leg, if they were to put a strong team for this game it would defeat the thinking behind the first game.

Our priority should be facing a inform Bournemouth team.

If we were in with a realistic chance to win the tie I'd say go full strength. We are not. Therefore, why knacker the players we are relying on in our title challenge for the sake of a misguided notion of dignity?

Bournmouth are a punishing side to play and they are having a very good 2016 so far. It would be foolish to take risks.

Besides, the centre backs remain regardless, the full backs always rotate, and last season Mason with Bentaleb was an impressive first choice pairing. Chadli was also first choice in the previous two seasons while Son is potentially a great player who, like so many others, needs to adapt.

Only Vorm, Carroll and Onomah from the common reserve teams being posted are players who you'd be uncomfortable with playing an extended run in the first team. The others have all proven themselves with us or elsewhere are some point and have ahown they've got the stuff at a very high level.

I know it's easy to bring out the club motto whenever it suits, but if the club's motto is 'To dare is to do', then playing another weak team feels so wrong. We almost got the three goals we needed at home against Sevilla nine years ago (they were a very good team, admittedly not as good as this Dortmund team). A heavy defeat which might add up to an embarrassing aggregate score would be damaging for the club, it's reputation and brand. Wonder if any of our possible transfer targets might look at our approach to this massive fixture and think....what's the appeal and pull of signing for this club if they're not serious about winning European silverware?

Binned this one in the first leg so I'd go

SpurgerKing

Thinktank Pinky Me Levy

Adele

Michael McIntyre BusConductor

Chas Dave
Spurs9

I'm getting 'funny' ratings for this but it's a well thought out tactical masterstroke. For instance, MacIntyre's in there because he's a communicator, Adele is in there because we need somebody to sit deep in midfield and she should be good at that. Chas and Dave know each other's game and can do the quick-fire back and forth stuff easily. Bus Conductor is in there for his razor sharp tactical know how etc. etc.. This is the way forward.

Poch has made a bit of a dilemma for himself here. It could really damage our image and confidence if we get another spanking, but realistically we haven't a hope of qualifying now. I would have loved to have gone on to win this, but we F***** up last week and must now put all of our eggs in one basket, the league.
I expect he will mix and match with probably a strong defence and second string midfield and attack a draw or a 1 0 defeat would regain some pride. He has to think of Bournemouth and most of his squad playing stupid internationals so I expect key ,players will be left on the bench.

Mate, there is no logic in playing a second string in the first game and then a full strength in the second game when we're 0-3 down and are second in the league with 8 'finals' left to play with players who are already tired.

Very wishful thinking, buddy.

I do agree with you but I'd just like us to still win the game. I think they will go full strength though and try and get an early goal to put the tie to bed.

I just hope poch doesn't get pressurised into picking a full strength team by the media if he doesn't want to.

The latter is the only way the former would happen though, mate.

Poch showed which side his bread was buttered for this tie in the first leg. He has to stick to that decision now.

Yeah I guess. It's a shame we got such a tough draw as I'd love for us to do well in a European competition.

There is no logic behind playing Dier, Lamela, Alli and Kane tomorrow but I feel like we're being set up for it.
