Lloris
Toby Sanchez Verts
Trippier Sissoko Wanyama Rose
Dele Eriksen
Lucas
Subs: Gaz, KWP, Foyth, Davies, Dier, Skipp, Llorente

This is our only option if Sissoko is fit - which I pray he is. Our bench may be a joke but if we can put out that team from the start we can go toe-to-toe with anyone if we get behind the team tonight. Likes of Davies, Dier and Llorente on for tired legs toward the end.

If Sissoko is fit he’s gonna give this lot something to think about. Been up since 6am buzzing COYS!

Really think we need to play direct English food football into Llorente and Alli targeting Blind.

Read an article on Blind not being great in the air but the Eredivision suiting him because they all play on the floor so shows this is something the team as well as blind won't be used to, as much as de ligt is good
Yes, I agree. Direct, accurate and decisive. No slow, pondering build-up.

I have a feeling Poch is going to go with a back 3. Given the personnel available I can see why.

Also, it throws a slight curveball to Ajax. It will be a formation they don’t come up against often in the Dutch league. I have looked through the previous 20 Ajax matches and it seems they have been up against a back 4 every match.

Things like this can confuse teams. They are a young team and it might throw them off a little.

I am really torn with this. On the one hand, we know Ajax struggle with crosses and aside from De Ligt are vunerable in the air. So Llorente could be very effective, even if only creating space for Alli. On the other hand, it would be tempting to play a back 3, and bring in Sanchez who will know the Ajax players very well. This would mean Llorente can come off the bench. Either way I want to see Sissoko and Wanyama giving them a tough time in midfield.

We looked dead on our feet vs the spammers and ajax look really strong going forwards. It's going to be nervy as hell I just hope we don't concede early.

Lloris
KWP Vertonghen Toby Rose
Sissoko Wanyama
Lucas Alli Eriksen (fluid attacking 3)
Llorente

Yeah I'd throw KWP in, fuck it, I think he's better than Trippier and would cease the opportunity, boosted by the occasion.

Would be worried if we go 3 at the back tbh. We never look comfortable with it.

Lloris
Tripper Toby Vertonghen Rose
Sissoko Wanyama
Lucas Alli Eriksen
Llorente

Subs: Skipp, Dier, Foyth, Sanchez, Davies, KWP, Gazzaniga

Subs bench is looking pretty weak though with that many defenders but who else do we have?

I feel like if Sissoko's back it will give everyone a lift. We just looked so disjointed at the weekend and I'm pretty sure that stemmed from the complete lack of a proper midfield. If he isn't fit then ....

If we press high and go toe to toe against them we`ll be carved open. With so many players missing,
hitting them on the break with pace and power is probably the best we can do.
