Unfortunately the same can be said of Dier. We've got no choice unless you wanna throw Skipp in for our biggest game of the last ten years arguably.

I'd happily play Skipp, he may play it safe but at least he can move freely.

Llorente shouldn't start, he's not in our best 11 available players.
So...

Hugo
Toby Sanchez Verts
Trippier Wanjama Eriksen Dier Rose
Moura Dele

I would play Llorente, I think he plays well in Europe as it's a slower and more technical game.

Getting the ball out wide and crossing into the box may be an avenue to success.

I'm already buzzing for this now. Fuck the West Ham game, this is the biggest game we've had for over 50 years.

The stadium must go full mental mode and the atmosphere can compensate for our injury problems.

Hopefully we don't concede, could be key. Fancy us to get an away goal or two with Son back.

Real tough one for Poch here. Watching how dominant de Ligt is in the air its hard to see any point playing llorente at all. But then what else? Moura on his own? Dele up front after his appalling performance today? Hard to remember a time we had so few options up front and in central midfield where we are absolutely fucked. Wanyama vs De Jong is laughable.

Keeps de Ligt occupied, perhaps?

I feel the end of season fatigue has set in, so I would go for Keane; Keane, Keane, Keane, Keane; Keane, Keane, Keane; Keane, Keane, Keane. subs Keane, Keane, Keane, Keane, Keane, Keane, Keane

Lloris

Trippier Toby Verts Rose

Foyth Dier

Eriksen Moura Alli

Llorente
Really cant see us getting anything out of this game unfortunately.
We are down to the bare bones and thats so far from our strongest 11 its scary.
I see no choice but starting Llorente who is so past it its a joke. Totally immobile and slow as a dead horse.
Alli looks unfit. Was slow as fk today and off form. If we had any other option I'd drop him.
The one shining light today was Foyth and I think he would do a better job in midfield than Wanyama or Dier.
I've put Dier in there but he's been poor this season. Could go with Wanyama but he's also been poor. His first contribution today was to give the ball away.
Trippier will start at rb but probably get absolutely roasted all match.
I've dropped Sanchez. Sick of seeing him leave players unmarked while he marks up open space and ball watches.
Toby, Verts and Rose need to be on their A game as does Lloris.
Wtf our bench is gonna look like is a daunting prospect.
Think I might pop down and see if I can get a game.
Gonna be a looonnnnngggg night.

You’re leaving out Wanyama based on his 5 minute appearance today when the team was playing totally shit ? I actually think he is starting to look more like the player he was. And you want to prefer Foyth as a makeshift midfielder alongside the “ where can I hide so I don’t get the ball “ makeshift midfielder Eric Dier ?

I don’t think so.

No. Where did I say that lol?
I'm leaving out Wanyama based on him not playing very well on the rare occasion he has played this season imo. Neither has Dier which why I said he's also been poor. Either or, I dont think it matters. But Foyth has played better than both of them recently.
Its just my opinion.
I wouldn't play Dier and Wanyama together but thats probably what will happen unless we go 3 at the back with Sanchez.

I dont think so lol. I dont think it'll happen either but this isnt guess pochs team selection thread is it.

Any chance we see Vertonghen as left wing back?

Considering that both Rose and Davies played today......

The fact we go into the biggest game in our recent history with Winks, Sissoko, Lamela, Kane and Son being injured or unavailable is just so Tottenham you wouldn’t believe it.

We haven't strengthened our squad in like 50 years. We need to own our current predicament.
