That's not a blank though is it? We've still scored, albeit not from open play.

I'm sure we will score Saturday - I'm more concerned about the win though. Even if we didn't score I'm certainly never going to jump on any drastic bandwagons, including AVB out.

We've had loads of new additions; it will be a while before they click, unfortunate but an inevitability. However, when they click we have the potential to be lethal.

Norwich strengthening in the summer should actually mean positive things for us as they won't hold as much fear testing us and we should find more pockets of space than in previous encounters.

That being said, we will need to keep our wits about us with Redmond and Fer the creative elements behind van Wolfswinkel so we could do with a disciplined defensive display from the main culprits at the back.

On another note does anyone know if Ade is back in training. I'm really curious as to the prospect of him forming a partnership with Soldado (similar to the one Crouch and Defoe had). I think they're two players who could really work well together.

We may not start with 2 out and out strikers but we've finished every game so far with 2 on the pitch. It's a massively important phase of the game considering all of our games so far have been decided by one goal. You really think a potential Soldado and Adebayor partnership won't be explored.

Gelling in/taking time is an overrated concept. We're playing at home against a team we need to beat and where the creative input of both Eriksen and Lamela is much needed. Gotta start your best players anyway.

Chadli tormented Whittaker for Belgium by the way. He should be confident going into the Norwich game doing it again.

Edit: regarding the midfield three and taking into account we will dominate possession, it could also be Sandro to protect the back four with both Eriksen and Paulinho pushing on. That would leave Eriksen on the left side Of the triangle, where he used to play for Ajax.

Agree with everything you've said except on Paulinho. You gotta drop your agenda regarding him - you said he wasn't a good signing, fine, but so far he's been good and you have to accept that. As for no creativity it's not necessarily his job but he has got a lot passes out to the wings and the danger areas

I`d go a little further than that to be honest, I`ve been really impressed with Paulinho so far, excellent signing.

I saw him destroy Hutton a few times in that game too, in fact I thought Chadli was excellent against Scotland.

Agree will all this and that is our strongest available team in my opinion. Best way to "settle in" is get on the pitch and take to to the opposition. No messing about.
