I said it previously........trippier v marcelo is suicide imo. Marcelo will skin him and sit up a cross for ronny time after time. As freaky as aurier can be his athleticism and aggression will be better suited.

Certainly not ideal. Huge miss Davies being out. Feel we need to have the usual 3 (Verts, Sanchez, Toby) at the back. So it's either Aurier, Trippier or Walker-Peters for LWB. Think we need Aurier to go up against Marcelo, so for me, Trippier at LWB with Vertonghen covering.

I actually think KWP would do a better job there as i've said previously, he has played LB a lot during his career. He shouldn't find things too difficult as long as he does a job defensively and Vertonghen covers adequately.

I'm not a fan of centre backs playing full back, never mind wing back. If we don't want to play any of our right backs there we should go 4 at the back with Verts LB like we did against Bournemouth, we can still pack the midfield if we want.

With either of Rose/Davies fully fit, I'd be a lot more confident, Missing Alli & Wanyama too and this become a right shit show. Its a real dilemma for Poch and I hope they've done their homework.

As someone said earlier, If madrid win their next two, that could mean they win the group and go into the last game playing their reserves against a capable Dortmund side, who we might need to get a point at least away.
