Yep. Llorente wouldnt be a CL debut for us. I think it might be KWP at LWB with Vertonghen shifted back into CB.

Lloris
Toby Sanchez Verts
Aurier Dier Winks KWP
Eriksen Son
Kane
Surely you’d play trippier infront Of KWP.Love KWP But would be massive ask of the boy on the left. But if it’s a debut think that’s only KWP or foyth.nkoudou must have had minutes.

GKN changed the Moscow game last year and combined with Son to win it.

Nah KWP has played left back a lot. Trippier can be dodgy defensively at RB never mind LB, also to some extent negates his biggest attribute putting him out on the wrong side too.

We’re not going to have a lot of the ball, so countering with pace is key, especially if Ramos is out with illness.

I honestly think we can get something from this game, Madrid are shaky at the back. Keep Ronaldo quiet and get physical with their midfield, and if the game is 0-0 at 60 minutes the fans will start to moan.

We'll see more of it than against Dortmund, Real are not possession hungry, they like to play more riskier passes in the final 3rd.

The game will not be 0-0 after an hour...

Didn't we have to change to a back 4 v Dortmund when our high line with a back 3 kept getting exposed, wouldn't be surprised if we start that way on Tuesday.

Harry Kane threatens to transcend Tottenham as Ronaldo showdown looms

https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...onaldo?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Copy_to_clipboard

"When Pep Guardiola referred to Tottenham Hotspur as “the Harry Kane” team, there were people at the London club who did not know whether to laugh or cry. The Manchester City manager, after all, had been in charge of the Lionel Messi team at Barcelona.

Behind the scenes at Tottenham, amid the pot-and-kettle bitching, came a recollection from last season. Had they not beaten Guardiola’s City convincingly at White Hart Lane without the injured Kane?"

Is Ramos out? Carvalho as well that’s half their back 4 plus bale evens it up as we are likely to have 3 or 4 1st teamers out.

If fit we would probably have used Wanyama with Dier. So might we play Verts in a DM role alongside Dier?

The fact poch has played and managed in the bernabeu before must be a big plus.Sure he won’t be phased and has told the players what to expect.
