I think his effort volume would definitely increase. We'd see him hunt more and move off of the ball more. Just got a hunch that this is what he needs to really get him going.

wouldn't drop Chadli for Townsend, Lennon or Dembele to be honest the last 3 have been fucking awful recently, Dembele needs a good kick up the hole to get him motivated, what does Lennon brinf to the party (fuck all) and Townsend is a last 30 minute run the defence ragged player

That would be my 11 anyway. Not sure on the best formation. I think Paulinho effectively drops back into a 3 man midfield and Chadli and Eriksen just float about doing what they want.

Width comes from Naughton and Rose, and Sandro and Dembele provide the more defensive base.

Keeping the back four together to build an understanding of sorts.

Sandro in for Paulinho for the defensive balance of losing Lennon. Townsed replacing him as he needs games to develop with an eye on keeping him with us for the future.

The rest deserve another game after the way they came back against a [weak] Sunderland side.

I was surprised about that, but obviously he wanted an attacking team from the off. WBA away may require a bit more steel in the middle. Hopefully, it'll be Sandro and not Bentaleb. I've been hoping we could form a good centre mid partnership out of our 2 Brazilians all season, hasn't really happened.

Yep. This is the team I'd play too.

Although Shewood obviously won't. He'll definitely play Kane (because he said so post match!) and Lennon.
