Please, please, please if we get nowhere else this season can we reach the point when people STOP calling for a front 3 including Adebayor, Soldado and Eriksen. My brain cannot come to terms with who is playing where in that one.
Why, I don't see anything wrong with it.

lennon should definately be dropped but doubt that will happen

Why he should be dropped? Don't get me wrong, I think he has been rather bad recently, but still to be dropped means there should be better alternative to come in and Andros isn't such and Chadli hasn't shown that much either.

Why don't we just play our best player (Eriksen) in his best position (centre) and build from there?

Lloris
Walker Kabs Verts Rose
Sandro Eriksen
Paulinho
Lennon Ade Townsend.

That isn't his best position...

Just to let you know Dombaxe is most likely going to get released at the end of the season

can he take paulinho with him?

i was only joking by the way, i don't even know who dombaxe is but bus always used to put him in his teams. i guess the reference wasn't clear.

I don't buy that he is a "number 10" really. Would be happy to see him starting deep for us as we are in desperate need of someone who can move the ball quickly from defence/carry it if need be.

He is the best player in our squad that can do this IMO.

Chadli's genuinely shown more in glimpses than Lennon has in 10/15 games of starts. What has Lennon done this season?

Decent goal against Stoke and that's it. Chadli's got goals and assists in cameo roles this season. Worth a go.

He can't tackle though. It's a pretty essential quality for midfielder playing in one of those deeper positions.

Lloris
Walker/Naughton- Kaboul- Vertonghen- Rose
Sandro/Paulinho- Paulinho/Dembele/Bentaleb
Chadli- Eriksen- Townsend
Adebayor/Soldado

Subs: Friedel, Fryers, Bentaleb/Paulinho/Dembele, Sigurdsson, Lennon, McEvoy/Soldado (if Ade fit), Kane

So many ifs and buts as we don't know whether Walker, Sandro, Dembele and Ade will be fit.

With Sandro next to him? Why do you need 2 "tacklers"? Was modric a tackler?

I understand the need to protect the defence but just feel that we need some more creativity in the centre. Harry Kane was collecting the ball from the centrehalfs at times on Thursday, which is a joke.

Chadli has been about as effective in PL as Townsend and both offer less defensively than Lennon. I'm not against Chadli starting, just don't see it as move to make any positive difference. Might make a negative difference if Lennon ups his game against Arsenal, I mean he is one of the few in the squad who has any idea about the importance of the game having been here for years.

Hugo (Wouldn't swap him for another keeper)

Walker (POTY over Aguero recently)
Kaboul (When fit, A top class CB)
Vertonghen (Best left footed CB in the PL)
Rose (Sunderland POTY)

Sandro (World Class DM)
Paulinho (Plays for Brazil)

Townsend (Led England to the WC single handedly)
Eriksen (Pure class)
Chadli (Plays for Belgium)

Adebayor (Best lone striker in the PL)

I think I'll go with this but Walker and Sandro are injured aren't they also put Eriksen as the attacker in the three and Paulinho as the box to box.

But Lennon is an attacking midfielder and..... Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!! :banghead:

ATTACKING!!

He is so shit going forward, Kaboul ended up doing Lennon's job against Benfica... :banghead:

Why do people insist on defending that waste of space.

I would rather let Chadli play and get a long consistent run of games to establish himself...

Townsend or Chadli could hardly contribute less than lennon had recently, even when he runs with the ball he tend to then stop and pass it backwards. Not saying either the other 2 have been pulling or trees but really think lennon has gone down hill fast this season.

Well it you're comparing attacking players that don't contribute much offensively at the moment, then other aspects come into equation.

I would rather let Chadli play and get a long consistent run of games to establish himself...

Establish himself as what, new scapegoat in case Siggy and Lennon are sold?

Chadli offers a lot defensively. He's a big boy too, so he's a threat at set-pieces and can defend them.
