I'm prepared to be optimistic on that!

And if those three are out we go Naughton, Soldado and Chadli. Which really isn't that bad.

Fuck our squad is strong. What the hell is wrong with us?

I actually think Naughton has been alright lately, thought he was one of better performers against Chelsea as well.

But yeah, its depressing isn't it...I know we're missing a proper ball player so to speak, and a manager with some experience and nous lol, but this whole season has just been miserable - its a miracle we're still hanging by a thread in the race for fourth, although that will probably be put to bed on Sunday for good.

But its a funny old game sometimes, so you never know, we might get a bit of luck on Sunday.

Could you imagine another battering lol....Levy is probably bricking it.

It's truly astounding that we're anywhere near the top 4 to be honest based on the two managers we've had, but that's because our squad is actually very very good.

Maybe this will be the weekend when our actually very good players play...ummm....very good.

But yes if we get battered this weekend then I very genuinely don't know what Levy will do.

We can't pass for toffee and our movement is crap. We continually concede sloppy goals and our mentality is weak.

Apart from that though, we're fine and dandy (y)

If Ade, Dembele, Sandro and Walker are out then I fear a pasting, I really do.

Our only chance imo is to get in their faces and make it blood and thunder game but I don't think we've got it in us.

Don't read the report in the Telegraph tonight if you're looking for a lift lol

They're saying we'll be looking to get rid of half the players we've signed and we're looking to bring in three players to streamline the squad - a defender (looking at Winston Reid) a midfielder (looking at Milner) and a forward - Hernandez.

Oh, and we'll bring back Livermore.

Roll on next season eh lol

I don't know whether to drink on Sunday lol

But enjoy!!! Numbs the pain, nothing like a bit of escapism!!

if everyone is fit (replacements in brackets)

Lloris
Walker(naughton) kaboul vertonghen rose
Paulinho Sandro dembele (benteleb)
Eriksen soldado adebayor (chadli)

I hope Tim sticks with a 433 for the rest of the season and stop rolling the dice allowing players to settle

We are going to beat arsenal by the way ;)

recipe for victory = play the best available players in their preferred position.

recipe for disaster = play our best players in the wrong position.

football is simple, why are we complicating it.

if u look at our squad, with a few tweak we will be going places.

A top manager is licking his lips knowing there is an opportunity at spurs.

there i say Tim can turn it around if he goes back to basic. There is no reason we cannot win our remaining games of the season.

Lennon, Townsend, and Bentaleb need to be substitutes only. These three have shown that they do not have the requisite end product to get us goals.

Let's see Soldado, Eriksen, and Adebayor (if fit) up front in a 3 man attack, with Dembele, Sandro, and Paulinho behind them. If Ade and Sandro are hurt, give Chadli a game for goodness sake. He scored a goal a month ago against Newcastle that Lennon couldn't dream of striking. He also created a clear cut chance for Harry Kane in his last appearance against Cardiff. Chadli has size and leaping ability, which gives us another threat on set pieces.

Of course, Sherwood has unilaterally disarmed us recently by benching Eriksen against Norwich (in favor of Lennon), Paulinho against Chelsea (in favor of Bentaleb), and Soldado (in favor of Kane).

Please, please, please if we get nowhere else this season can we reach the point when people STOP calling for a front 3 including Adebayor, Soldado and Eriksen. My brain cannot come to terms with who is playing where in that one.

It seems to be based on the twisted notion that Adebayor could play one of the wide roles.

I think Sherwood is trying hard to rebuild a team to reflect the same quality of players that he played with in the late 90's.. although a modern day Ginola would be most welcomed..
