Lloris
Aurier
Rodon
Dier
Reggie
Sissoko
PEH
N'Dombele
Bergwin
Kane
Son

Happy with the height and pace that Rodon provides so wouldn"t rush Toby back. When the subs are made would leave on N'Dombele for his quality and perhaps bring on Gio for Bergwin later on. Fingers crossed for Hugo.

I really hope we don't sit back too much

Likely to be the same team, barring injuries, as last time out. Maybe another defender in for Ndombele.

Hope we have more shots than the 9 we had in total in our last two games. Allowing the opposition three or four times as many shots as we have is a risky business and personally I think Arsenal have more firepower than Chelsea and more threat.

Still I hope we stay lucky and it’s the usual 1-0 to the Spurs (based on six goals in our last five league games, three against bottom five sides). Losing to Arsenal is not ever pleasant.

After the midweek failure, there's hardly any posts suggesting Sissoko and Serge should be dropped. What a difference a week makes!

A week? I haven’t seen a better right back than Serge all season. It didn’t need Doherty’s shitshow on Thursday to know who should be picked Sunday

All season long, except for the newcastle and man utd (1 man advantage for 60mins), we have been outplayed and outclassed by every team in the league, from the chelseas to the brightons, but have somehow won many of those games and stayed top of the league.

Anyone who thinks this brand of football can sustain till the end of the league and we stay top or thereabouts are really not seeing this clearly

All it takes is for their strikers to take their opportunities better, or for Hugo to go off injured, and we will see the difference.

Ive been saying it all along, and im saying it again, we will never go anywhere with this kind of gameplan, where we hardly have possession, play the long ball from the back, and always tend to lose possession after 3 passes.

Unless we change the way we play, it'll just be a matter of time.

Ok I've got my bulletproof vest on now. Fire on.

he just likes to post things he desperately doesn't want to happen as fact to try and force the universe to not let it in happen, in this case, Hart in goal.
Finally someone realized it! Also, its been working for me far so why stop? That and the pessimism. I dont want to push my luck and change.

Apart from the first 25 mins yeah. We were second best.
Yeah totally outplayed AND outclassed for 70 mins that day.

In reality though West Ham got completely demolished from the start, went 1-0, 2-0 and 3-0 down (and it could've been more), hardly did anything of note in the first half themselves and were happy that it was 'only' 3-0 at HT. The second half was obviously different, which is kinda what you expect when it's 3-0 at half time and given the fact that we were going to play 5 matches in 14 days, but 9 out of 10 times this one would've ended in something like 4-1, maybe 4-2 rather than 3-3. The mistake was that we stopped playing football for large parts of the second half, but it's nonsense to claim that we were totally outplayed and outclassed that day.

Kind of agree. We don’t really dominate or show how good we are. We pretty much ignore our midfield and promote our cbs to keep on pumping long balls. It’s shit to watch. Great to see the odd goal ( which is all it has been for a few games now) but we’ve great players who can seriously out play from front to back. But it’s long ball or watch n’dombele run his socks off.

In general I think there’s a lot more potential in Alli and (still) in Bale than Bergwijn. I won’t give up Alli!

So lads...is Toby fit? I seen the training pictures...that would be a huge lift for everyone involved.

3 points is all that matters in a derby

Arsenal are a counter attacking team, they struggle against teams that sit back and counter attack them.
Well there's a conundrum.
I feel its recognised that we are vulnerable at the back as we lack pace, we sit deep to protect ths. We must be brave and push on to expose their defensive weakness. If they are a counter attacking team as you suggest, we will sit deep and not allow them space behind. I just hope we have enough getting forward to cause them problems. To dare and all that.

MASSIVE game for us, we win this and it sets us up perfectly for the Christmas run, loose it and the old "chokers" term will be out in force again.

Why stop? Because it makes no difference whatsoever as to how things transpire, that exists only in whatever world you happen to be on today, makes you look like a world class plum, a rage baby, it pisses everyone else off and nobody is interested in being constantly subjected to your coping mechanisms. It's largely made up rage based on a series of what ifs so unlikely that even Chemical Ali would have trouble keeping a straight face if he were to offer it up........ It's also fair to mention that you aren't giving our American supporters a good name and the fact that you're probably giving the USA a worse rep than that tango faced twat you've got in charge, that alone should have set the alarm bells off in the vacuum currently residing between your ears :D

Bad things are not going to happen/not happen because you've had a rant about it on a football forum, you're not going to change the order of things due to a force of will, in short, you're not one of the X-Men or a messiah or whatever, you're a very naughty boy.

So on behalf of the (admittedly very few) normal people on here, give it a fucking rest. Please. It's really really really better to have you posting like a normal person with what you actually think and not making up rants, nuggets of bullshit and bollocks for some obscure fucking reason from la-la land.

There. You asked. If there's anything else, just drop me a line, this shit is free but i'll charge you for the next one ;)
