Interesting that Troy Parrot is travelling with the squad .We know he will not play but it is so encouraging to see a 16year old being eased into the first team set up and I hope that this young man can progress and maybe feature next season as a 17 year old.

I know he ended up scoring midweek but there's just something I'm not liking about our attacking football when Lucas starts and I honestly just really feel like he could either be doing more to have more of an influence on a match or we could be getting much more out of him. Sometimes it's hard to pinpoint which one exactly.

Of course we've got one eye on the Barcelona game and a result there would be massive but a result here will be massive too, especially with Chelsea having Man City today. Actually looking at Chelsea they have Brighton away after that, Leicester at home, then Watford and Palace away so a few games that they could potentially slip up in.

I believe following is the difference :

When Lucas plays, he gets attracted towards the ball. He wants to confront opponents, win the ball and run at them. Son doesn't want to engage the opponents as much as Lucas. Son likes to run behind, stretching the defense. Having said, Sonny can also close down & engage opponents.

IMO, its horses for courses with Son, Lucas & Lamela.

The League Cup game aside, I honestly don't see KWP getting the nod from Poch. He just doesn't seem to fancy him. Totally bewildering.

The positive side of this match is Vardy might be out, and Mahrez went to Man City. 2 players that always seem to show up against us.

Tough game here....anything more than a draw will exceed my expectations. Have to play strongest 11 with son, alli, eriksen and kane in attack. Its controlling the cm area i am most concerned about. If we cant control and keep the ball then we will always be under pressure.
