Is there a problem with Wimmer? We've seen not a hint of him since the season began and there was that random talk of him being behind CCV in the pecking order...

Im not joking. Let me explain myself bere. Winks is starting because of Dembele with the hip problems. I dont want to take the chance of going too quick with him. Although 45' today was a good sign.

I don't subscribe to the theory of we have to play Janssen because Kane needs a rest. Neither striker has been particularly good at all this season. Just because we have to rest Kane does not mean we are limited to playing Janssen. I dont want to drop a struggling striker for another struggling striker.
And of course Harrison has been on fire in the zero seconds of first team action he's had this season...

Christ, talk about trying to ruin Janssen before he's even started, literally!

All the posts picking wimmer, he is not even making the bench atm for whatever reason.
If vertongon is to get dropped I would say ccv or dier dropping back is the most likely outcome

Sissoko and Jansen need to start.

Seems Alli is the new scapegoat for this season even though he was our best player last night and Eriksen was crap again and Lamela poor and totally inaffective.

everyone has Dembele in their team, which clearly should be the case but is he not suspended for 1 more league game?

Lloris

Trippier Alderweireld Wimmer Rose

Wanyama Dembele

Sissoko Eriksen Son

Kane

Gotta keep balance between resting / rotating and picking a completely different team that messes up rhyme IMHO.

P.S. Harry Kane FOREVER BABY!!! (he needs to start to get into his groove after scoring last week and then we have option to sub him for Janssen in second half).

Kane and Janssen have brought the best out of each other for the most part this season, lets see if we can get them both firing against a poor defence. Reluctant to drop Eriksen as I thought he was good against Stoke, mind.

Sunderland at home, so we should go with two strikers up front. Eriksen should come out for Sissoko as after yesterday's result we need to show a bit of aggression,

Harrison's been playing really well for the youth and is scoring. He is also quicker than Janssen. Janssen looks like he's moving in quick sand out there. I like the guy but he's been thoroughly unimpressive thus far.

Poch never plays with 2 strikers. He always moves Kane to the #10 when ever him and Janssen are on the pitch together.

The benches(before Rose got hurt) were Davies and CCV. That covers all our bases at RCB and LCB. Kind of redundant to put Wimmer and Davies on the bench, dont ya think?

Well poch could have had all his bases cover with wimmer on the bench instead of ccv. Dier could move back to rcb

I cant imagine that you really want to write off Janssen after 0 starts . Would you get rid of him in January on that basis ? How do you think Sissoko is looking ?
